I met Mum while my son was at a party in a town near her. I was telling her all about my bargain work wardrobe (Laura Ashley coat, almost unworn skirt and trousers) - although not the car boot sale jigsaw that I'd wrapped ready for Mothering Sunday! When we were passing a CS I couldn't resist - and found a Country Casuals blouse which will be OK for work, reduced from £4.95 to £1.95. Then Mum dragged me into the 'real' CC next door, which was closing down. They'd got all the sale stock and buy one get second half price at that! Mum got two fab dresses but I still think I got the better bargain!

I was looking forward to the Wrotham Kent bootfairs that restart soon . Looking at the site of the people who run it , they have one at Ebbsfleet International Station. Looks like this could be a good one and none of the mud and rubbish from field sites.

    Starts March 21st, http://www.smbbootsales.co.uk/

I am buying old football annuals as these tend to go for a reasonable profit on Ebay , plus last year bought a complete set of Natwets Piggy banks over spac eof several fairs for less then 100quid. Those made a nice profit on ebay soon. My Plan this year is to double my money at each fair.

    love the goatskin clutch goanmad!

Went to a boot sale that I hadn't been to before today. Was VERY crowded and there were a lot of people due to the 10am start. After a rummage managed to get:

    YSL touche eclat tester £2
2 Shabby chic mini photo frames-£1.50 for both
A french connection sailk cami-(got home and had a look at the inside wash care tag-didn't look professional so think its a French Connection tag put on the neck so thinking its a fake:()- 50p
New with tag pink skirt with embroidery on the bottom-50p
I turned down a pair of new never worn Primarni black patent shoes with gold heels as she was asking for £4-managed to get it down to £3 but wanted to only pay £2 so i said i'll come back later-gone by the time I came back!

Great finds, there jtz! Shame about the French Connection cami, I've fallen for that trick before.
It's mad, isn't it? We'd snap up shoes in a Charity shop for £4 but when something's in a field I'm hesitant to pay more than a couple of quid.

I often chop up linen tablecloths and rework them into pillowcases. You can't beat linen bedding.
