    I'm a complete cat-aholic! I'd have more than three if I could.

Boot sale today was good but soooo cold. I've popped my finds on the blog but in short:

1950's plaster horse head lamp £2
1950's faux tortoiseshell music box in the shape of a piano with a dancing girl £2
1956 edition of Good Housekeeping 50p
    2 x pairs 1950's nylons 50p
    Chritian Dior stockings 10p
    Vintage linen teatowels x 4 £1
2 plaster poodle hall plaques 50p the pair

Fingers crossed for a dry weekend!

    Interesting finds there Goan.
Wish we had a midweek bootsale to go to. But since the weather is getting better we will be able to go in the opposite direction to a big outdoor one for a change at the weekend and see some different types of things.

I love this one because it's mainly house clearance stuff that the traders don't want to sell in their shops. I rarely pay more than a fiver for anything!
  • Was looking for a black pencil skirt which Gok says I need in his new book! Trouble is they don't really suit me. Anyway found a nice M&S black fit and flare style one for £1, which I think looks better than a pencil one on me.

I love the horse head lamp and the two poodles are most probably made by 'Bossons'. They sell for a fair few quid on ebay.

Hi Jasmineswhiskers! The blonde poodle is marked "Bossons, Congleton" and the other is just stamped "Made In England".
The horse's head is rather lovely, I'm debating what type of shade to put on it, obviously the quirkier the better.

Anyone know of any jumbles around the Rhyl area at all? I go round the CS's most days so would like to start branching out to JS's lol
She has the loaded handbag of someone who camps out and seldom goes home, or who imagines life must be full of emergencies..

    • Look up your local newspaper's classified section online (usually jumbles are advertised in the thursday and friday edition).
    • Check your free newspaper in the "What's On" section
    • Google "Jumble Sale" and "Rhyl" and see what comes up.
    • Check all your local church halls, community centres and playgroups and see if they are advertising any events.
    • Look in newsagent's windows for adverts.
