I was looking for a smart jacket for work but spotted a gorgeous patterned Laura Ashley knee-length coat with pretty buttons and one spare still tagged to the label. Beautiful detail and lining - I feel positively gorgeous in it! I know £10.99 is a pretty high price for CS but for this coat it's a bargain - and I reckon I'd ebay it for more (if I weren't going to wear it til it falls apart!).

Glad you managed to find some bargains! I think I was easy enough to spot as it was, I was the one with the purpley hair, red converse shoes and red and black checked bag. Next time we will definately have to say hello, glad to hear that theirs is a regular thing :) Looking at the Gazette's archives, it seems like there's jumbles quite often round here, especially at Ormesby Methodist Church. There was tons in Feb!

Sounds like everyone had a good day jumbling/chazzing :)

Sounds like you've all been busy ! Some great finds today :D

Jesa, glad you had a good weekend, sorry our south downs weather wasn't a bit kinder to you :(.

Not much for me today. 2 pairs of shoes from a CS (wedges from atmosphere) - £4.50 each but they were brand new. I keep meaning to look on website to see if I can find similar - might go and do that in a minute :D.

Car boot sale was awful - all dealers selling a load of rubbish to be honest ! I can't wait for our 'summer' one to start (easter time I think).

Just out of interest, has anyone ever been over to any of the french junk/antique street markets? We're going over at Easter and I'd be really interested to hear of anyone's experiences/best places to go. I'd love to be able to have a look around one but have no idea where the best places are.

Goan, as usual, you never cease to amaze me with your finds. How interesting about the vampire . I love to read about interesting/strange/eccentric people like that. The world certainly is a more interesting place with them about :D.

  • Hello! Oh, I've missed this thread so very much. It's great to catch up on all your amazing finds! I went on a serious charity shop mission yesterday and came home with:

    Topshop yellow printed skirt
Kookai blush pink silk and wool cardigan
Union Blues (?) colourful printed kaftan
    Brown woven straw tote
Royal Stafford 'White Lady' 6 piece tea set (I wanted to know if this was anything special, but it seems quite readily available on eBay so I guess not. It's adorable though - I have one of the teacups and saucer on my dresser!)
    Bone china rose printed dish

All that cost £19 in total but I was happy with it as all the clothes are brand new with tags. I've also grabbed some great eBay bargains this week, including:

    Black printed Topshop dress (£5)
    ASOS hareem trousers (£4)
    M&S chiffon tiered skirt (£1.56)
    Blue floral printed cardigan (£2.99)

All in all, a great second hand shopping weekend! :)
