Welcome back Goanmad ........ I trust you had a fab time? Boot season down here doesn't start until Easter, so I'll just have to bide my time until then and keep scouring the charity shops. :D

We have two boot sales here open year round, and they're decent too, but the snow and now rain (and therefore) mud means I haven't been to one since November!!!

I'm eager to go to one but the weather just isn't permitting! :-(
    2009 Wins = £833
    2010 Wins = £6,597
    2011 Wins = £7,083

    £2,012 in 2012 = £450/£2,012

  • Thought it was a bit quiet, but just realised had posted this on old thread! Is it possible to have it closed?

Took a friend who is in desperate need of new office type clothes on a charity shopping spree yesterday. She got:
Unworn dark denim skirt, Earl Jeans £2.99
Oasis black short sleeved shirt, with ruching £3.99
And a body con style French Connection strappy dress, an ASOS stripy short sleeved shirt, a Topshop black shift dress, and a dorothy perkins white tshirt, all for £5.

I bought a See by Chloe black military style jacket for £4. Sadly a little small for me, so might have to set it free on ebay!

I bought a Hugo Boss cerise jumper in a CS the other day, ticket price was £4 (over budget really since I'm going to cut it up and make something out of it but it was beautiful virgin wool) but when I got to the till the lady was outraged as 'jumpers are 3.25, ooh I wonder who priced that up, sorry about that love, I'll only charge you £3.25'. I didn't object!
  • I've been having chazza withdrawal symptoms recently but made up for it yeasterday. At my favourite shop. I went a bit mad but got:

2 dressy dresses, a Libra dark brown jesey and a gorgeous plum devore velvet - £5 each
A Wolsey fairisle pullover for the OH (or if this weather keeps up I'll be wearing it myself as it's really toastly) - £2
3 really good cashmere v-necks, one beige, one green and one stripey - £2 each
DVDs - The Changeling and Doubt - £2 each

And then got a pair of Equity unworn court shoes for £3.99 in another one...
