Wow, great finds today for me

Tommy heilfiger shirt, genuine for DS = 25p
longs sleeve bodt vest for DS = 25p
Tub of magnetic letters and numbers for DD - 1.00

Wallis suede light jacket - 1.00
Primark lime green swing jacket (love this even though it would have been the cheaest originally)
Lovely black handbag type for holding folders etc, ideal for work for me, I love it - 1.00
    But the ultimate bargain

An excellent condition (practially brand new or never worn) Antartex sheepskin coat. - 1.00.
Its is truly beautiful but a tiny bit small for me, it is a very (read very) generous size 10 (normally a 14/16!)
It has a number wrote in pen on inside label, does anyone know anything about these coats, is it a batch number or anything?
It also says to return to them for cleaning, anyone know how to go about this. Will try to get a photo up to share it with you all.

OH just remember seen a fur coat in one CS today. Label said REAL and price was 80 reduced to 50 pounds. No labels inside from maker or anything so not sure but are CS allowed to sell it if they believe it is real fur and sell it as such. Ws really hairy and not that I know much but it looked and felt real enough to me.

As far as I was aware real fur is not illegal to sell unless it is from an endangered / protected species. Harrods still sell it.

My local charity shop sells real fur. Although, quite often, they send it off to the local auction house.

Went to 2 CS yesterday-first one-never been to before, nothing I particularly liked but BNWT Topshop trousers for £10!!! ( I didn't buy them!)
second one-seemed a bit empty and looked like it hadn't been restocked in ages, so a Topshop coat for £5, but the 'Dry clean only' label put me off, didn't buy it and came home empty handed, hoping to got a CB on weekend!

Jasmine is correct. There is no law against selling fur as long as its not on the endangered species list. Fox, bear, rabbit etc all ok. Cheetahs not ok
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

The car boot sales around here lately have been a bit sparse for sellers. Can't say I blame them as it's freezing cold early a.m's. The ones who do go are regulars. Not many genuine car booters at present.
I have found a few books to read though.
    Best wishes,

Too early for outdoor car boots around here and I dislike the indoor ones as the sellers are in no hurry to shift stuff and the prices remain high.

Luckily jumble sale season has just kicked in and goodies priced at between 20p and 40p is much more my style.

Tops picks for jumble sale (last saturday):
Gent's Italian leather brogues in ox-blood (which BF adores)
    1960's towelling mini dress
    1970's red dagger collar blouse
Lots of 1980's dresses which will go on eBay
    Grey leather batwing jacket
    Pristine 1950's Endeavour Pyjamas
    1950's foldable travel hangers

    Thursday's jumble:
1851 leather bound edition of Punch
    1920's Mammoth Wonder book
    Aran cardis
    Leather cartridge bag
Traditional Ray-Bans with case and certificate
    Vintage curtains
    Vintage nightwear
    Jaeger 1970's day dress

Popped into town yesterday and found the following in the town centre charity shops:
    1950's poodle ornament 40p
3 x 1960's gents' cardis with original store tags still attached (£1.50 each)
2 x Tootal "Man At Ease" 1960's button down sweaters (£1.20 each)
    1960's Fred Perry wool polo-style shirt (£1.20)
Wolsey 1970's tricel shirt with tags attached (£1)
1970's Adonis dagger collar leisure shirt (£1.20)
    1960's denim peaked cap (50p)
    2 x tweed flat caps (50p each)
    Tootal kipper tie (50p)
1960's gold metallic Kelly bag (£1.95)

OH got some James Bond books at a car boot sale last year, for 50p each. A dealer offered him £50 for the 5 but OH has packed them away for a rainy day as they are worth more than £10 each.

I bought a dress off a CB for 25p but when I tried it on at home it did not fit (too small) and I put it on ebay for .99p. I was amazed that it sold for £16.50 as it did not look like anything special, not designer or anything.
