Hi, long time lurker here, really happy with my CS haul today so I'll share : )

Grey silk "Ophelia" Twenty Eight Twelve blouse - 1.75
Black leather Anne Klein shoeboot brogues - 50p (needed attention but have polished up beautifully!)
Black sequinned Hunters and Gatherers camisole - 75p
Black faux leather cowboy boots - worn once - £2.50
Vintage pink Shilton International handbag - 50p (again, needed a good clean but now sparkling!)
3 modern maxi skirts from Wallis, Principles and Per Una - 99p each
Black Betty Jackson Black ruched top - 75p

Am made up! No jumblies round my way unfortunately, but it's funny you should mention Tipton, Goanmad, that's where my best friend comes from. She describes it pretty much like you do!

I didn't go booting this weekend as it was raining hard all day Saturday and when I woke up Sunday morning.

I'm not sure if I'm going this weekend as we are going to a part Saturday night and I don't drive after a nights drinking. I'm praying for some jumbles - going to the papershop to browse the locals on my way home tonight

Goanmad - I love the black and white dress on your blog. I'm not a black and white fan either but for that I would make an exception
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Hello,

I'm helping out at a jumble sale tomorrow afternoon. It's the second time I've helped and I really enjoyed it last time.

I'll also be helping to sort all the jumble before it starts so hopefully I'll be able to spot a few nice bit's before the people come in. Unfortunately I haven't got a very good 'eye' for spotting the good from the bad though!

Last time I was on the shoe table - maybe I'll get promoted to clothes this time.

I couldn't believe that people were actually stealing from the jumble sale - items were only 50 - 20p! We also found out that someone had also stolen all the toilet rolls from the village hall loos during the sale.

Hopefully I'll have some nice bits to report back tomorrow.

    TT

    1 x Wedgewood wild strawberry ginger jar/lid £2.00

    DD bought

Topshop grey wool trousers NWT's £1.80

I went to 2 local CS's earlier on in the week-one looked like it had a clear out, but still had left some of the stuff no-one has bought in a year! The second looked like it needed serious restocking esp with the £5 plus Primark worn out stuff!
Needless to say, i came home with.........wait for it............NOTHING!

I've discovered some more CS's a bit local to me using the charity shop finder webiste that I've seen somewhere here. Hopefully, will go next week and have some bargains to report.:D

    Afternoon!

Quiet week on the shopping front but managed a quick trawl of the town chazzas earlier:

    2 x 1970's vintage men's proper floral cowboy shirts (£2.95 each)
Vintage mink and leather gloves (£1.50)
Vintage 1970's "Sylvan" maxi dress (£6.99)

Hopefully a nice day for car booting tomorrow (hangover permitting!)
  • Went to charity shops in nearby town. Lovely Principles linen blouse, £4.50, 2 pairs M&S trousers (one like new) £4.30 & £3.99, shirt for OH £3.99 and nice cat shopper £3.99. Spent a lot but got some nice things.

    2 x 1930's convex circular wall mirrors
    Two framed embroideries
    Crinoline lady dinner bell
    4 x retro glass plates
    PK ceramic beetroot pot
