I was selling today, only decided to yesterday as my sister was going and she didn't have quite enough to fill the car, I didn't really have a lot of stuff but still made £85!!

While I was there I had a mooch around and got
    - 2 bin bags full of clothes, I've sorted them through and will keep about half of them, the other half will go to the charity shop - £2
    - Buzz Lightyear duvet cover & pillowcase - 50p
    - 80s My Little Pony duvet cover & pillowcase - £1
    - 80s Starlight horse plush from Rainbow Brite - £1

Not a lot, but I'm pleased with my bargains!

I had one of those when I was a kid, I've still got it. It's a bit dirty though!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Weather stayed quite ok here, but I'm not feeling too good so didin't get there early enough really. Still managed to find:

    Happyland church set £1.50
    Happyland aeroplane £2
Clarks girls boots, like new £1
BNWT Ralph Lauren kid's top £2
FP Little People singing car/bus 20p
    Baby Born wellies ! 50p

So the kids are happy :)
  • Must be coming to an end of my local boot sale, but still managed to get:

4 Ladybird lift the flap books £1.50
    ELC Happyland Train - 50p
    ELC Happyland Figures/animals (16 in total) £1
    Little Princess book 20p

and my favourite - a Terrimundi money box £1 - that already has some money in it!!!! (prob about £1.50 from what I can see through the gap!)

The car boot this weekend was surprisingly small despite pretty good weather when compared with previous weekends. It was forecast rain though so I think that put people off.

    Got some good bargins though:

3 books for £1 all together. One with animals in (I use these for art) and 2 on cross stitch.

A Matthew Williamson angora cardi for £1.

An Evie coat for £1 but it's too small so will Ebay.

Two Next tops for 50p each, neither looks worn.

Tagged pair of Next jeans, not tried on yet but have a feeling will be too long, for 50p.

Not bad considering it was very small.
    2009 Wins = £833
    2010 Wins = £6,597
    2011 Wins = £7,083

    £2,012 in 2012 = £450/£2,012
    20 in 2012 = 4/20

I have not been on here for ages as I have been too busy so I will just tell you about a couple of bargains,my biggest one this month was a plate |I bought in a charity shop for £1.99,turned out to be rare one from the 1930,s and sold on ebay for £72.00!!!
I found my dream charity shop find last week, the thing I always hope for when looking through the handbags, the name LOUIS VUITTON.£4.99 for that bag .........

Why don't charity shops pick up on stuff like this? They are missing out on good money.

their mark up is 100 percent what ever they charge, if theyre happy with what they get i dont see the problem.
there's a shop here who puts top prices on all their good stuff and they never shift it. so its just taking up shop space.

With the bag- there are so many fakes kicking about that it'd be easy for them to assume that what they'd been given was one of those, plus, as Gaz says- whatever they sell it for is pure profit, and I suppose every penny they can make helps. Things won't do them any good if they end up sat on a shelf for ages waiting for someone to want to pay what they're actually worth.
