I took a punt and went to the Whitley Bay car boot and it was open. Got a pair of Timberland walking boots for £1 :j (brilliant for the allotment I've nearly got) and two necklaces for £3 ( no haggling as the stall was selling for charity).

Also, a fabric In the Night Garden playhouse for DGD and a crawl through tunnel. She will find a surprise in her bedroom when she gets back from her hols.

went to a small local bootsale today and nothin of interest except a urban detour buggy with giraffe print but as we already have one we didn't get it but my dad might see if it's there next week as he's in the countryside and would be good for walks in a field. I hate that i didn't ask cause it probably wont be there next week! X

I've been going to more charity shops than usual as my 13 year old niece likes looking for CDs in them. I like to look at the vinyl records and books - I never have much luck with the clothes. I got a fab Abba LP the other day called Gracias por la Musica, which is them singing all of their hits in Spanish :rotfl:

It was only 50p and seems to be one of their more collectable records :j

I have replaced a CD that I had lost, well, found the case, no CD in it. I found this at the car boot, Chris De Burgh.....Spark To A Flame. Had to pay £1.50 but I wanted it. It's probably his best album.
I also bought a very pretty wooden musical box, it plays Born Free, for £1 & a cuddly dog toy.:D

I never have any luck finding clothing either, Joyce.
    Best wishes,
    Val:hello:
