I'm an avid reader of this thread & I love car boots, flea markets& jumble sales...I'm lucky to have several car boots / flea markets near to me that run through the week as well as the weekends :)

    This weekends haul:

    Lancome O Oui perfume £1
Yves Saint Laurent Opium Pour Homme £4
    Anais Anais Perfume £3
    A load of skincare products - Estee Lauder,Lancome,Clinique,Clarins priced from 10p - 50p each.
    Elemis items £5 for 8
A gorgeous little Next military look jacket for my 2 year old & a pair of Next jeans for her £2 for the two.
Monsoon Green Silk Mix Dress which is stunning but it's a size 10 & I'm a 12 & it doesn't fit :( So I'll either have to go on a diet like I keep saying I'm going to or sell it on.

We also seem to be collecting things to go on our shelving unit in the lounge...Every week it's become a bit of a hunt to see if we can find something cool to add to our collection as we're not really into traditional ornaments. This week we bought a fish which matches the owl we also got from a car boot about 4 years ago both cost 20p & both are from Mexico. They are lovely!

Look forward to hearing about more of your bargain purchases :)
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

bit of a newbie to posting on here but have been lurking for a while! i went to my local charity shops today and got a fatface hand bag for £1.50 and a few books to keep me occupied whilst on maternity leave- i'm usually a frequent visitor of the bootsales and have gotten so many bargains!

got my mosis basket for £5 off ebay, loads of brand new clothes for baby from charity shops- never paid more than £2 and got some beautiful monsoon bits and pieces- i'll see if ican post a picture!

The only trouble i find is half the charity shops are so expensive- half odo their books for 75p- oxfam, bhf etc have tatty old books for £2! couldn't believe it!
Emily Sophia arrived 11 days early on 26/8/10 at 16:43 weighing 6lbs6oz :)

Our charity shops have paperbacks for 50p. Hardbacks in one are £1 but also 50p in the other. I very rarely buy from Oxfam, unless it's a book I really want.

Best wishes for the new baby too.:)

I went to three bootsales on Sunday - not sure I can remember everything but I'll give it a go:

New Leopard print ballet pumps 50p
Lots of DVDs for 50p each so I have about 14 nights worth of new movies to watch. Including the Betty Paige bio which I have wanted to see for ages
4 bright colour pop dresses from Warehouse and ASOS £8.50 but not a single one fits me! Really disappointed as they are all lovely and I need a new dress for a special occasion
New bright pink ruffle skirt £2
New Topshop floral puff sleeve summer blazer £2 (has the tags still on and it was £65!) - it will look lovely with my black cropped trousers for work this summer. I don't think its been out long - maybe this or last season. I love ditsy florals!
Some 8 inch high patent red stripper heels - I put them on the shelf in our room, very kitsch!
4 vintage bags:croc, lizard and 2 leather - ranging from 50p to £2 for one of them
"Fat Spiderman" fancy dress costume £2 for my collection

I think that was all but I'll come back if I find anything else I missed
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

Bought a "Fendi" purse for 50p at last Sunday's bootsale. Knew it was probably fake but looked in better condition than my existing one. The nice surprise was finding two £5 notes tucked into a corner of it this morning!

I have just replied to a lady on my freecycle for some clothes suitable for office work , she's said yes BUT she hasn't given me the address! I'm meant to be there in half an hour and I'm already to leave but I can't with out the address! *facepalm*
I know she'll be cross when I don't turn up but what can I do ????
    I emailed her asking for the address and am now waiting. . . . . . . . .
