I made a quick trip to my favourite charity shop to drop off a huge bag of clothes and came out with:
Topshop peach suede platforms, £6 (more than I'd usually pay but I NEVER find second hand shoes to fit my size 8 feet and they're so gorgeous!)
Jane Shilton black patent bag, £4
Topshop black cotton sundress, £40 -
Great car boot this morning, but my goodness it was windy! Clothes rails flying everywhere, poor sellers! I picked up:
Maroon original Doc Martens, 50p
Nine West grey leather shoe boots, £1
Topman black cardigan, 75p
Floral tea dress, 75p
Glass jug, 50p
Ted Baker wool coat, £2 (so pleased with this, it's gorgeous!)
Vintage Levi's denim jacket, 65p
H&M lace crop top, £1
Vintage Levi's 501 jeans, 50p
Topshop printed weekend bag, £1
I very nearly came home (with some help from the burly stallholder as I'd never be able to lift it!) with a solid oak coffee table for £5. I changed my mind at the last minute (poor guy looked quite relieved he didn't have to lug it back to my car) because it was a little scratched and maybe a tad too low. Totally regret it now!0 -
This morning I picked up a brand new Restform 3 layer double air bed, complete with pump, also unused, for 6 quid!! Checked online, new ones are £69.99 to buy!! Wahoo!!! VERY chuffed, although when inflated it's massive, we're a bit worried that it'll fill our tent!0

Wow that's bargain. I've been looking out for one for a while now, eventually I bought one on Ebay for £30...would rather have paid 6 quid! Mind you I did buy a camping stove today for £4 so we're all kitted out for camping now.

Well I've never had much luck finding such wonderful bargains in charity shops or boot sales as you lot seem to, but I went to our local CBS yesterday looking for some cheap plants and managed to get 3 trays of summer patio plants for £5 (18 plants in all). I've planted them all up in a couple of unused patio tubs that have been lying around at home for ages and they will be put of for sale at our school's summer fete next weekend, hopefully fetching a tenner each, all proceeds going to the school, so I'm well happy!£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250
£2 Savers Club 2015 #8 £250£200 :j

Well, I mistakenly took my 5 -yr-old to the bootfair and only got halfway along the first row before she had a strop because she wanted a £10 dolly pushchair. I did manage to get a Mickey Mouse red dog collar and a beany lap tray (£1 each) both as new. Then it was £1.50 on the bouncy castle, then home. I missed about 3/4 of the stalls, lol.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0
