I was at my local yesterday having my usual sweep before setting up my stall and spotted 3 carrier bags full of dvds under a guys table but towards the back out of the way.

Just out of curiosity i asked if they were for sale, he said that he brought them to sell but had been told by his neighbouring stall that cause there were 'some' copies in there that he would be in trouble for selling them...

He said "oh just give us £2 and you can take them" I couldn't get the money out of my pocket fast enough! Got round the corner to my stall, took 30 blatant copies out, the other 35 originals went on my stall at £1.50, by lunchtime i'd sold 22 and the rest will go back with me next week :D

Got home, binned the copies and kept the cases to replace some of my kids tatty dvds, bargain :)

I went to a boot sale y'day. Got few good bargains:
    Almost new Camper Trainers £1.50
    Almost new Converse £2
    All Saints Leather Belt £4
    All Saints Mini Bag £4
    H&M Oversized Carpet Bag £3
    Office Leather Cuffed shoes £1
    Topshop printed vest £1
    Topshop Puffed sleeved Top £1
2 x Mini Anna Sui clasp bag (they they might be free gift when buying perfume or something!) £2.50

I also went to a carboot sale last week, bought 2 All Saints dresses from this guy for £18. (one of them has holes in it only saw them when I got home). He wasn't very nice, said I should know how much stuff are as I got nice clothes on!!! Then I saw him again yesterday, asked him how much a dress was (was £7 last week), he said £15 so I mentioned that he was trying to sell me the same dress last week for £7. Then he started saying I was moaning it got big brown stains on the armpits & button was missing (it was a white dress!), so now he's bleached it & put button back on. I wasn't gonna buy it but he showed me it last week trying to make another sale while I was buying from him. He has attitude with everyone asked him prices. Basically he told (almost like shouting) people he got better stuff than other sellers and nothing is for 50p or £1. He kept going on someone would buying all his stuff and sell on ebay anyway so he could sell stuff at his prices, he wanted prices that was going for on ebay in the carboot sale (he said he couldn't do it but I reckon he was suspected on ebay by the way he speaks!!). Oh well, I saw him three times now and a lot of his stuff were the same as I saw from first time! He might have sold a few designer pieces for £10, £20. £30 but I really doubt people pay that in carboot sale. A lot of his clothes would need washing or treated before putting on ebay as they weren't cleaned, got small holes or bobbled. I wouldn't mind paying more for a designer piece of clothes, just not from someone who's so full of himself.
