Haven't been booting for a while soi it was nice to be back. Got some really nice things, some for me and DD some for Ebay.

A pair of lovely brown leather ankle boots from Kurt Geiger thought they would fit but wayy too big  so will sell them. £4.
Pair of Irregular choice tape measure shoes also too big £2

Black merino wool Banana Republic sweater £1.50 also claimed by DD

But best of all a size 12 1970's floral maxi dress for £3 which fits me perfectly and even better an amazing vintage dress with the label saying "Modeles de paris collection, inspired by Manguin of Paris for Lewis's sold only in the Uk ". It is a lovely peachy floral print with bow trim and my DD loves it although it's a little big. Not sure of the dates of it maybe Goanmad could help?? It has the look of 50's /early 60's?? but not sure. It cost me £4 and worth every penny bought from a lovely eccentric oldish lady who I bought a lovely vintage Ralph Lauren skirt from a few weeks ago.

Welcome back! I'm loving the sound of the maxi dress - envy!!!
Lucille Manguin died in 1960 so I'd say most likely the fifties era as Lewis's became an established chain in 1954 and would have had the buying power to establish it's own fashion labels.

Great find. Old ladies always have the best stuff!

I love the sound f the vintage dresses-no one round my way sells real vintage anymore, although I did pick up a vintage dress at Saturdays CBS its damaged but I thought if I can't fix it the fabric is fab!!
