    Bought it in the end.
£79.95, paid £19.99 for an optical lead, could of got it cheaper somewhere else, and bought the 3year replacentment warrant for £16.99.
The sound is great, what a bargain. Well pleased.
    Thanks MSE.
    Cant even see the scratches

    Good deal !!!!
  • Was reading through the instructions and the optical lead that I bought should be included, so Ive just been into Currys and got that refunded. So even a better deal, like someone said before, you cant fauly Currys customer service.

Hi, yes it comes with a really thin optical cable - so small you could almost miss it - much thinner than the ones you buy - not sure if that's a good thing or not!!

    Hi thanks for the info

I read this on Monday the 16th and checked out my local Curries High Wycombe) yesterday. They didn't have one but found what they said was a display model in Bedford £79.97. I collected it today and it turned out to be brand new in an unopened box. I cant believe my luck - its the best bargain I have ever had.

All I have to do now is connect it up to my Sony Bravia TV and Sky - any useful tips?

Plug the stand into the TV with an HDMI cable. Then plug everything else with HDMI into the stand. Now, the sounds will come from the stand, and the picture will be switched to the correct one on the TV. If you've SkyHD, that's what to do. If it's not HD, you'll be stuck with SCART into the TV, and if you have optical out on the Sky box you can plug that into the stand, otherwise just plug the red & white phonos into it - but it's only got 1 input.
