Go Hypno! That's brilliant. The most exercise I get at the moment is my daily walk with the dogs. Mind you, spotty dog gets a 90 minute brisk walk most days....problem is I think my body is used to that and needs something a bit more energetic. Maybe next year! xx

A 90 minute walk is pretty good mudbath!! I have to admit that I probably haven't walked for 90 mins a week recently. No wonder my clothes have shrunk :o

  • Well done for getting out for a run Hypno.

Aparently my straight £10 withdrawal on BB has been approved and sent back to my card - I thought you could only withdraw a minimum £20 at a time? Bit mystified, but not complaining. :D

    That's what I need - virtual nagging :T:D

EH, I did one once that said it had been approved but the next day it was back in my bingo account. I hope it goes through ok for you, but don't be surprised if it gets reversed tomorrow. Well done on the win, though!!

We all need that! If I write in my diary, I'm going to run/exercise - I feel I have to do it. It's a great motivator ;)
Well done, I certainly could not run on a Monday night after work :T

I start work at 8am so running before work is not really an option, plus I am certainly no morning-person :rotfl: Although at weekends, I quite like being out there while most people are still asleep

I did find it difficult to switch off though, I suppose that will come with practice :o I used to find it really cleared my head.....and that is one of the reasons I wanted to get back into it, but my brain was obviously going through the "oh God, she's not doing THIS again" thought process instead:rolleyes:

Yes, today it was probably a bit of a shock to the system. You'll get back into it very soon though. I think if you get to the level of fitness of running a marathon, then your body quickly remembers.

Then you'll be able to zone out and relax and maybe even "enjoy it"!
    When are you going again?

Ooh, don't want to get too keen :rotfl:

My calves are already protesting, so I don't expect I will be fit for anything tomorrow......I will aim to get out again on Wednesday after work. My first goal is to run 5-6 miles comfortably again........then I will start to think properly about building up the miles, but if I can run for an hour at a time to get some head-space, then that will do me the world of good, physically and mentally.....
