I know what you are saying but all working mums feel like that.... My house has been terrible for 2 weeks. I got my OH to bring all the clean washing into the front room to sort out - and he sorted some of it but didn't put a scrap of it away. I left it there partly in protest but also because I was too shattered to do anything else... We have finally sorted out the front room today - and I have sorted the washing into neat piles and even put some away.
Unfortunately I have another 3 loads to be sorted and put away!
Don't be so hard on yourself... I struggle to fit church and family time in without all those extra trips you do!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I feel so much better when my bedroom is tidy - it is quite a small room so as soon as it gets untidy, it really does spiral into a pit of dispair!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. We are not superhuman and at times our bodies let us know it. We can do what we can do but that is it..... it is not always the right thing to push beyond our limits - sometimes - often a little later -our bodies tell us where to get off..... Please be kind to yourself, a little more often, just for us....
I took my latest job and arranged to finish early one day a week as I know otherwise I would be ill.....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hot bath, Jo Malone candles and glass of red wine.....all making for a reasonable Sunday evening. !
It doesn't get much better than that.
I'm going to copy this bit, and paint my nails too. Night, night.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
