We've not got a wii, or anything similar.......but if it were a choice between a wii and a mountain, I would choose the mountain any time!

Sadly, the nearest I get most of the time, is my ironing mountain :o

    Hi Hypno and all

I came on here for a nosey and can't believe what I'm reading. I feel EXACTLY the same way!!!!!!!!

Life is so relentless and overwhelming, all efforts just seem totally futile. I'm so wound up today, I want to cry but can't. When I read your post about being a working Mum and then ZTD's (Excellent) advice - I did cry, because it's all true :(

Love, health and happiness are the most important things.
When your kids are grown, they won't think "God Mum never did the ironing and always moaned about expensive tuna", they'll say "We had fantastic parents who instilled a work ethic in us, but gave us amazing opportunities to develop into well-rounded human beings" :T:A

Sea - sorry to hear about BF but please be positive. My friend had one and was given a poor prognosis, but 9 years on, everything is rosy. There have been fantastic medical advancements in recent years. Thinking of you :)

I was thinking about this today, Z - I work in a "full on" job - it is stressful,
I know I have chosen (as far as you can choose when you have a mortgage and debt) to be a working mum, but sometimes I do envy those wives of my colleagues.....with their agas, tennis lessons, and shopping and spa trips to London with their girl friends........

But have they experienced the joys of MSE???? The pleasures we get from our bargains, eccentricities and community?

A maid would be very nice though, isn't it Olive :rotfl:.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
