I'm very impressed with all the housework going on as well as all the debtbusting. Is there some strange bug going around

I have overpaid a loan by £500 this month and the 1st dd's have gone into saving accounts - so well chuffed with that :D

I 'did' the bathroom yesterday - even shined tiles :A One of the mysteries in my life is HOW does my very tidy dh manage to make such a mess when having a wash and shave - water up the windows and mirrors - along the windowledge, puddles fit to swim in around the sink area and don't even get me going on soggy soap and toothpase stains. Suppose it could be worse though. Must just be a 'man thing'

A £500 overpayment is pretty fabulous milann - well done :T

As for housework, well, anyone who has been with me for the last three years will know that I have these bursts of "I will get in control of it" that last all of about 5 mins

One day I will surprise everyone and actually get in control of it........heck, I would surprise myself if that happened!!

But having gotten in control of the debt now, (and I do feel in control of it now I have the lower rate loan), I feel ready to take control of the house again....

One thing at a time :o

I think there must be something going around re the housework - I'm getting back on top of mine here too - the place looks almost respectable! (only almost though!)

Oh - I sympathise on the mess-when-shaving things too - I suffer in the same way. How hard can it be to run the cloth round the sink to mop up the lake?!

Morning - my house is getting back to normal slowly now both DS & DD have gone off to Uni. Mind you it was very quiet and dark here last night - no lights left blazing or music blaring!!

    Off swimming in a minute

Know just what you mean - have my husband and my eldest son who are very tidy people -but not in the bathroom either! I have now shown them where the microfibre cloth and cleaner are kept and keep my fingers crossed.

£13.20 received in the bank today so that has been paid to the 0% card....baby steps!

Flylady today is the kitchen and dining room - I am hoping it shouldn't be too hard, as I did a fair bit in the kitchen over the weekend.....I got a star yesterday for my efforts. go me :j

Enjoy your swim, surfbabe, and I hope everyone has a good day!

 You've got me at it now . 7am & I have a bin full of gorgeous underwear that hasn't fitted for years :o. And a grotty towel that never looks clean, and a piece of chrome curtain rail I kept in case it came in handy . Plus a bag for the charity shop with a duvet set and 2 tablecloths. Can I go back to bed now please
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
