I've only done the hall, stairs and lounge - not gone anywhere NEAR the rest of the house :rotfl:

urg, yoga is on my list of things to get back in control of - I used to do 2 hours a day, believe it or not! I was tres flexible and nicely slim as a result, and slept oh so well!
That was back in the days when the children were in bed and asleep by 7, and OH worked away, so I had peace and space to do my yoga at home.
Now I would get interrupted left right and centre, with comments from OH along the lines of "you don't get your leg that high for me" or "ooh, you're really bendy, aren't you" with a lecherous grin.........
I really do love my yoga class. The last class I had was great - there were 5 of us in the class and it was the style I love - Iyengar. We used to have such a laugh and one of the guys in the class always commented on how low my knees would go when doing half lotus! Sadly my teacher got the horrid C and died. The problem was that I was so spoiled by her and really enjoyed those classes that I couldn't find a class I liked for nearly 2 years.
I don't love the class that I do but I figure it's better than nothing. I really want to find an Iyengar practitioner near me but haven't found anyone.
In terms of what it does for me - I'm pretty big (a size 20) but am surprisingly flexible. My current teacher tells me that I have been taught well and have great postures:A.I've only done the hall, stairs and lounge - not gone anywhere NEAR the rest of the house :rotfl:

That's my goal - to have my weekends to me!!!!
I better go off and do my tasks for this evening and get to bed early. I am pretty tired.
Waving to you all.

I'll sign the petition for housework-offset bank holidays :T
Sleep well, urg......perhaps when my house is a little less cluttered, I can restart yoga in the conservatory or something......that should be a space that works well for such an activity, and is well away from the TV and stuff.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
