I'm shattered - and I have yet to venture into my flylady list for today.........*sigh*

But I do need to do at least some of it, otherwise I will have maintained my usual record of 1 day wonder!

Hope everyone has had a good day......if anyone has any energy going spare, then please throw it my way!

Remember the FlyLady mantra - "You can do anything in 15 minutes"

Promise yourself you'll just do 15 mins then put the kettle on - bet you end up doing more, then will be sooo pleased with yourself!

As for yoga, I went last night and fell asleep during relaxation! The teacher had to wake me - everyone else was leaving and I was fast asleep:rotfl:

I've done my first 15 mins and, yes, there is a difference already.......I will do more throughout the evening.

Falling asleep in the relaxation bit of the class sounds absolutely perfect to me! It's a good job you didn't start talking in your sleep :rotfl:

I bought a couple of storage boxes today - one for photos, and one for things like the TV licence, home insurance documents, last quarter's worth of utility bills etc.......that will get them out of the pile of papers that build up next to the sofa, and will give them a home of their own.

when my charity donation had to get cancelled at the start of my debt free journey i started donating blood. I know it's not for everyone but i figure i could at least do that if i can't give money.

i tried that once ...passed out several times ...got a letter two days later saying yes we need blood but really we can manage without yours thanks but no thanks:rotfl::rotfl:

hypno i dont donate to charitys at all anymore ...when i think about it in the tsunami's case £300 million went missing which was the equivelent of the total donations of the u.k ....and in other charities less than 10% actually makes it to where it is needed ...the people on the street that get you to sign up get paid £25 for every person that signs up ...so my way of giving is to a) work paid for a charity (not great wages believe me) b)do volunteer work ...i currently do volunteer work for the red cross the local soup kitchen and the local district volunteer group ...i also do free reiki treatments (mainly for individuals with cancer and disabilities)

OH does masses of voluntary work, and also works for a charity......I reckon that if he were to add up the voluntary hours he does, it would be more than the ones he actually gets paid for - and for the ones he gets paid for, he gets very little.

So, yes, I think we do our bit!!

As for "chuggers" - they are on my room 101 list.......

yes i think you more than do your bit ...you also do alot of work for the ski club etc all unpaid as well ...yes other parents help out as well ...but at the end of the day if it is unpaid then it is charitable work whether it is for a charity or not ...i am not mean i do believe in helping others (rescuer mentality coming out again) but my time is important to me and ultimatley if i charged per hour i would never give as much in cash

Yes, I was mortified in case I'd been snoring :o

Well done on the 15 minutes :T - you've even inspired me! I'm normally of the weekends only persuasion when it comes to housework too...
