I've done a bit more - I won't get everything done, but I have done a whole lot more than I would usually do on a Tuesday evening  Time for another coffee though......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. We do need to get the government to sort this housework bank holiday thing dont we..... (goes off to find the local news phone number and starts a protest on Great Yarmouth seafront)0

Lol.....do people in Yarmouth actually *know* what housework is.......

For the majority i think you are correct.:eek:
However one is from the villages near the dreaded town and believe me there is a hole world of diffrence between postcodes!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
re Charities. Heard about a pensioner who spends about £10 a week on food for garden birds and stray cats. My hubby said that £520 a year is a huge amount to be spending on something like that and how many other people are sucked into the "feed the birds" syndrome. In comparison - Children in Need for example usually raises about £30million each year which roughly equates to about 50pence per head of population. The sums dont add up do they??0

OK, I just want you all to know:
Tonight I cleaned my oven
It was the first time I'd ever done it - and it's about 15 years old.
I *think* Popeye cleaned it sometimes, but he's been gone for 2 years......
I blame you Hypno for all this midweek housework0 -
I am very impressed OO :T I didn't get as far as cleaning the oven, or the fridge, in my flylady quest today, but I did climb on a stool and clean all the grease from the stainless steel cooker hood, so it is now shiny - and the whole kitchen looks a million times better than usual!
So, two days in, and I am very pleased with myself......I just need to keep going!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
i really need to do some housework so i will have a go during the next tv break. I will definitely make sure the dishwasher gets unloaded/loaded and turned on before i go to be.
I've had to be quite rude to those doorstop guys who expect me to hand over my bank details to start a DD to charity when i know most of it won't reach the destination. i would rather donate blood or time than money because i have more of it going free.0 -
