morning - we seem to have had a summer's worth of rain, all in one night - it is absolutely tipping it down here!

Scratches done -a big fat 20p today....but £15 bingo winnings arrived in my account today so that will be paid to the debt today.

Just finishing off my mystery shop report that was due in yesterday :o I got so carried away doing my kitchen, that I forgot until really late.....oops!

Today is cleaning of the main bedroom and the landing - thankfully it shouldn't be too big a job because I have already been sorting the wardrobe and throwing out clothes that are too small/shabby etc over the last couple of weeks.

gallygirl - kettle, downstairs loo, and underwear drawer - three of the most important places in the house I reckon!

Have a good day everyone - don't forget your umbrella!

20p on the scratches for me too, no time to do clicks cos more Amazon sales to sort out :-)

    Congratulations :T

Surfbabe, how long will it be before you can get back in the pool? Do they have a "virtual swimming" that you can do on the Wii

Raquela, sorry you feel grotty.....the rain on our conservatory roof sounded like War was going on outside - it is going to be a very grey day today.

Tip for the day, best way to clean oven is to put all shelves etc in the bath with hot water and washing powder. Leave to soak for a couple of hours and then all the !!!! comes off nice and easy.

(we only have one very small tv between 4 of us)
    I'll get my coat..........

I think thats the right way to be....... 2 or 3 TVs just for me seems completely ridiculous.

Morning Hypno! I love the sound of rain on a conservatory roof, it reminds me I'm snug inside, I think!

It doesn't matter how snug inside I am, I don't want to be rudely awoken :o Everyone in our house woke up "tired" because it was so noisy outside last night!

Still, tonight I will be going to sleep in a clean, tidy, calm bedroom......

I really do wish I had done "before and after" pics of my garden and house -then you could see just what a difference there is! Perhaps I should kidnap Pania for a bit......she has seen it at it's "usual" so would be able to vouch for me!

Ah, yes........ being woken up by it is definitely not a good thing. Clean, tidy and calm is - and kidnapping Pania might be quite a lot of fun too, she could get back on here for a start!

Sounds like the rain you got last night is the rain we had yesterday...that was really bad all day and most of the evening.
Today it's cold but dry and sunny..go figure.
