Natasha doesn't like me using the computer when she's around (quite right too, I should be entertaining her instead!), and either throws it at the floor or pours some kind of sticky substance onto it at every opportunity. Ahhhhh, the terrible twos......
You mean you haven't got her doing surveys and free bingo yetI think your parenting skills need severe work.......these are valuable life skills that you should be teaching her from an early age
Rainy, I don't think anyone would WANT to steal my knickers.....
On the topic of my shed - it could be a good way of getting it decluttered.......perhaps I'll put a sign on it saying "help yourself" in the hope that when they take the tools and lawnmowers, they also take the broken plant pots and empty weedkiller containersSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning!
Surfbabe - I'll will look out for Surfbabe type offspring in Nottinghams fair city
Tall slim and blonde hair !!! not like her mother!
She seems to have settled in really well already - most of her friends that went off a couple of weeks ago were phoning home 4 -5 times a day as they didn;t know anyone and wanted to come home - unlike my DD who was out with her new flat mates Saturday night and yesterday and has met up with some of the people doing her course today - i have no worries about her being homesick. She is going wakeboarding this weekend (i think) and climbing and of course surfing (not sure where you do that in Nottingham though :rotfl::rotfl:)
Sorry Hypno - slight digression there.
Glad you are feeling better about this week - hope it stays that way
Nothing else to report - bankingno surpises etc etc.

Ooh a new diary (bit slow here!) - have you thought about publishing a book when you get to the end of all the debt-fighting?! Good luck with this new chapter.
Flylady scares me - I had a quick look but there were things on there I don't even think of doing, know it's a bit different not having a house full but well, it's scary.
Hope you get to the bottom of the bolt mystery, very strangeDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Glad to hear DD is settling in well Surfbabe. I work for one of the uni's so I know we're all friendly!
There's a great water sports facility not far out of the city centre, might be there. Unless of course she's just taken a shine to the River Trent! :rotfl:
Digression over!

Surfbabe, I am glad that your DD has settled in nicely - I am sure she will have a fab time!
Rainy, congrats on stalwart status!!

Hi,
I found the flylady thread on here confusing - I like routine! (i.e. Monday is Living room night etc).
I am using the main flylady site and I really like it. It's taken me a while but I am getting into it. I mainly focus on the decluttering and challenges. The one thing that I have really got into is setting the timer to do something for 15 mins. I see results which makes me keep going.
I still have loads to do but as Flylady herself says - BabySteps!
Better get ready for Yoga class.
Catch up later.

urg, yoga is on my list of things to get back in control of - I used to do 2 hours a day, believe it or not! I was tres flexible and nicely slim as a result, and slept oh so well!
That was back in the days when the children were in bed and asleep by 7, and OH worked away, so I had peace and space to do my yoga at home.
Now I would get interrupted left right and centre, with comments from OH along the lines of "you don't get your leg that high for me" or "ooh, you're really bendy, aren't you" with a lecherous grin.........:rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
