Went to The Trafford Centre today - went to see Harry Potter before it finishes its rounds - haven't been to the flicks since the last Potter film. Lots of Christmassy things in the shops and I suddenly realised I made a great start back in Jan and not bought anything since. DD's birthday next week - she is in London though and I won't get to see her until half term for a weekend. I suspect she is going to tell me she is spending Christmas with her OH as they have bought a place of their own this year. I fully accept that and it is the natural course of things but I wish she was closer and able to 'pop in for a cuppa' - Christmas day, birthday or just any day.
AH well - must get positive - sooooo about to have a cuppa and last of my birthday chocs - not sure if theres enough to go round but I'll crack open a pack of choccy digestive if anyone wants one.
Going to make a list whilst watching Doc Martin - lists always make me feel as if I'm 'doing something' when in reality I usually forget what I've done with them lolJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Ooh, chocolate digestives - I'd be happy to give one of those a home for you milann!
I've managed to get a little bit tidy today (amazingly), so I am going to venture over to flylady to see if I can be motivated into doing a bit more during the week........

Hi Hypno,
*Looks around* Well, it's not quite as nice as some of the property !!!!!! you float around, but it's not bad for a virtual residence.
*Picks comfiest-looking chair and bounces up and down a bit to test for comfort*
Hmm...well, I have nothing to add, I just thought I would say a belated hello. Fancy some Mars bar? *Fishes a Mars bar out of pocket*Please call me 'Pickle'

That sounds great!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I would have eaten it too! That said, whilst emptying the desk drawer, I found a bag of sweets with about 5 left in. then I looked inside and remembered that they were the really rank sugar free liquorice gums I bought accidentally about six months ago which tasted horrible, so I chucked 'em. Clearly as there was no mouse infestation or ants, they weren't impressed by them either!0

If you can notice a bit less stuff in the house then the plan is working....0
