Now I would get interrupted left right and centre, with comments from OH along the lines of "you don't get your leg that high for me" or "ooh, you're really bendy, aren't you" with a lecherous grin.........

:rotfl:That made me laugh out loud :rotfl:

You mean you haven't got her doing surveys and free bingo yet  I think your parenting skills need severe work.......these are valuable life skills that you should be teaching her from an early age
That's a very good point, I hadn't thought of that! :) I'll get right onto it tomorrow!

Wish someone would give me a lecherous grin and comment on my flexibility.....

Snaggles..can't believe Natasha is 2 already..it doesn't seem 2 minutes since you were on here in labour!!!

I know - she's actually almost 2 and a half, and really embracing the terrible twos with all her might, but she's still a funny, quirky little cutie! :D

    I am being a Lady of Fly.......:D

I have hoovered in corners I never realised existed......cleaned woodwork that I thought was *supposed* to be grey, and discovered that all the missing pens, earrings and safety pins *obviously* find their way underneath the sofa cushions!

I have even polished the banister.......I never realised I had so much wood

    I am feeling very :A

Beanie - welcome to my new little plot of madness :D

duchy, that is a really good thing about donating your "time". I remember after the big tsunami, we gave what we could such as a bit of change in the buckets at the supermarket etc, but it was at the absolute peak of our debt, and I was literally thinking about going bankrupt, so we had no more cash to give. Then one of the girls where OH worked asked for money for a sponsored thing in aid of the tsunami and OH had to say No, sorry - can't do. Of course, no one knew we really did have nothing at that point in time, so this particular girl started shouting the odds at OH saying how these people had lost everything etc etc etc - which did nothing to help anyone. OH was labelled as the meanest person on earth. Had there been an option to work extra and have the money sent over to help, that would have been an ideal option for us.

I guess that is one of the reasons OH does so much volunteer work, he can donate time, but not cash.

when my charity donation had to get cancelled at the start of my debt free journey i started donating blood. I know it's not for everyone but i figure i could at least do that if i can't give money.

I agree LT, and something I always used to do, especially as I am quite a rare blood group. But they ended up rejecting me......which was quite upsetting, because I would sit there for aaaaaages waiting for them to get enough blood to fill a teaspoon - no hope of getting a bag full :o

But, for those who have yet to donate blood - you should do so, as it is very MSE........you get to lay down for 10 mins during the day (what a luxury THAT is, AND you get free tea/coffee and biscuits when you get up :T
