    Hey guys,

didnt realise you were all still posting on here :o

Butterflies - so sorry about your Dad, it sounds as though you & your mum are really supporting eachother through this. It's really nice to hear of someone else who donated to medical science, my mum also did this & it was good to be able to have a memorial service to celebrate her life & achievements without the misery of a funeral. For us, that came about 18 months later so it did reopen old wounds to an extent but we coped & in time the loss does become bearable.

I'm really sorry to hear that you've had so much trouble with your ex's family . I dont think you can do any better than you already are. I have a friend who is going through a similar horror but her children have been turned against her so she rarely sees them. It breaks my heart as I just cant imagine how awful it must be. I truly admire you ladies who cope under these circumstances with such dignity. How you behave now will remain in your daughters memory, so well done you for not lowering yourself to others standards :A.

Rosa - hurray for doing christmas your way & I fully intend to do the same myself next year. I wish you every success with your MSc & too right you should concentrate on that, work & most importantly your health :A

eco - I hear you on the not buying tat in 2011. I'm going to copy you & be all about getting rid of it instead :D. So good to hear that your boat plans are in progress, had never though of actually designing one from scratch

Gwen - so sorry to hear that you've got a whole load of hassle at work .:(. That's a load more stress you really dont need & as for the creep  :mad:. Hope you're getting all the right support from work. Really wish you much better things in 2011 :A.

TDQ - girlfriend + brewery ? Life treating you good then :D Will hopefully make up for that rough time in Oz. did you ever get your wages ?

Hey to the rest of you who I chat with regularly :hello: & welcome to our new members too :j

No dating here yet, am waiting until debt & fat free ( no time soon then :o). Seriously though, when I do get back out there I want top quality specimens, so think it only right that I put myself in that category first :rotfl:

PS - Souk, you are such a greedy moo :p;)

Butterflies - just wanted to echo what Lula said, you are struggling with a difficult situation but your daughter will recognise and remember your dignity! Keep it up girl!

I've vaguely been thinking of trying the internet dating, I'm in a complicated situation which is ridiculousand I'm wondering if 2011 is the year I try to get a bf. However I do always get a bit resistant to the idea of meeting someone, I think I'm quite stubborn and hate the idea that some people (even friends!) have that my life isn't that great because I'm single whereas I think I have a fab life compared to some folks I know who are coupled up!!! :p:p

Eco - how sad, I hate to hear these stories as so many people tear families apart for no good reason. I have a great relationship with my extended family and I also have a great relationship with my nieces that I hope will continue and grow. It seems so sad when you hear about these things happening (although I fully understand about wanting to keep 'certain' people out of your children's life as well!!!!)

And I've started my diary, began with a massive waffle so feel free to jump in!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Well the bar is open and the snacks are out. ...... I'm typing this next to a huge open box of Thorntons Chocs that a lovely client of mine gave me and finishing off a bottle of rose.

And believe me there is plenty to go before the big eating freeze of 2011 starts....
