    Hey all

Just popped in and see that the thread is having a bit of an end-of-year revival, so thought I'd say hello, hope you're all well and that life is good.

I've had a busy year and not been on MSE much, but do occasionally do a bit of covert lurking on some of the diaries, and it's good to see everyone making progress with stuff and generally not taking any !!!!!!

Sarah, if you read this, I really hope you're happy and that everything's ok.

To everyone, Happy New Year - hope 2011 brings you all the shoes, chocolate and, erm, other things you may desire ;) x

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Happy New Year all!

I'm new to the forum - thanks to Shoe Gal for pointing me in the direction of this thread. Like many of you here I'm single, in far too much debt and have a love of high-heeled sexy shoes! Somewhere in a parallel universe I have a whole house filled with them, but in my current existence I have to make do with the space in my wardrobe and (unfortunately) sometimes have to get rid of old shoes when new ones come in due to lack of space. Roll on being debt-free, moving home and having disposable income again to indulge my love of shoes!!!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Well I survived NYE, and I pulled but like I said to one of my friends I'll take quality over quantity any day, it sure isn't easy been popular, but got home at 3ish and was up at 9, been a bit tired today but going for a long walk tomorrow to blow the cobwebs out.

Got a spending diary and hopefully I'll stick to it all year, cos if I do I'll save a bit and hopefully change some spending habit's, so have joined Lula's clothes challenge, and will try to stick to shopping lists.

One of my friends goes surfing in Cornwall and wants a few of us to go in october for his birthday, so as I've never been to Cornwall decided I'm going so will need to save a bit, he said I can stay in his caravan if I want but petrol will be one big expense. Hopefully this year will be a good one for us all.

Woo hoo! Well done Eco!!! So was he quality or quantity??????

I had a fab night and had a similar level of success  found myself a 28 yr old no less (all though it is slightly depressing that a 28 yr old could be considered so young for me, when I was 28 I didn't feel young at all!!!!)

He did take my number so we shall see if anything happens.

Of course if something does happen I shall have to sort out the tangled mess with my ex ...... am so not good at this kind of thing. I hate difficult conversations....

It was bizarre walking through London with no traffic at all (although lots of drunk people). We managed to get the wrong tube (although I was convinced we were on the right one and managed to tell several folks they were on the wrong tube so they got off.....oops!)

My friend did his best paramedic impression with a young guy who was slumped at the bus-stop. We tried to point out that Elephant & Castle isn't the best place to sleep on the floor!!!!!! He did get up and get on a bus though so hope he made it home ok!

All in all a top night!

And although slightly rough yesterday morning, I went to a friends house for a NYD get together and found that several glasses of champagne were just the ticket!

Today I should be tidying up, meal planning, goal sorting for 2011 and generally getting back into the swing of things but I'm still in my pyjamas and not feeling the love for any of above.....
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
