Hi everyone, feeling better today. today i went for a walk down the canal in my big warm coat, to enjoy the fresh air, I should do this more often on a sunday morning.
then i got back and washed the car, i was afraid the salt was doing damage underneath. As I washed it I also rinsed away as much salt off the cobbles as possible and sweep it away to the drains, i hate the stuff.
Washed the wheels on car as best i could. I think next month I will take it to be rinsed underneath and waxoyled to protect it again. It was last done two years ago and was only £46 to get done.
Then I had some lunch and the guy called and collected who won my two ikea unused shelves (quite big ones with metal hooks on bottom) for £10.59 for both and I bought them new two years ago for £25 each.:(
Then I turned the soil over where my cat had done her business on my garden. washed the path at the front of my house, then steam cleaned the lounge carpet a bit and the lino in kitchen and febreezed the house. Now got a candle on and now resting.
I pray this year my life changes more but I guess thats down to me. I feel like every year Im not getting anywhere and get afraid that I will be stuck in the same house when Im 70.:(
Im the sort of person who has friends but they lose interest in me when they have partners.
Is it normal when you are alone for people to think you have a boring life???
But Im going to keep trying for jobs even if they are only paying a few grand more than now.
So if anyone knows of any good admin jobs in manchester or around for £18k upwards please let me know
Im a good worker and have a really good record.
So instead of chocolate Im having some strawberry crunch cereal :TMortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Hi Ladies
Could I join you please? This thread seems like the perfect thread for me. I can't write too much just now as I am using my mobile phone for Internet whilst I wait for my laptop to be fixed (could be a long wait!). I had a diary on here before but let it lapse, thankfully my debt has gone from £6k+ this time last year to £1800 now which will be gone asap!
I'm aiming to stay debt free when I get there and will need help with this as I am determined to have a fun packed year full of new (good) experiences now that I find myself single.
Have loved reading through this thread and can relate to many of you, I also love SATC although could pretend the second film never happened!
I hope I can join you and I will be able to start posting properly soon
Sorry for any typos, can't see the tiny screen too well!
Happy New Year

Happy new Year all. I had a fab one. Was in with my mate but ate and drank loads (bit too much as there was vomiting yesterday!!!) Anyway was back at work today and all well.
Start the vile diet tomorrow and all organised. Got my breakfast in and made soup for lunch. Also bought my seeds in which I can shove in/over my food to make it a bit more interesting. (She says hopefully!)

You're way too organised for me Souk! i've still got tons of food in the cupboards and fridge. I've not eaten a proper meal today, just lots of snacky bits :eek: I think it'll take me another week to get back into the flow properly......I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

That's allowed make up, but I can't put this off any longer!!!! Being back at work has helped too and I can get back into a routine and get slim a bit quicker this way. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Last year I was feeling really motivated and I started everything on the first day back after the new year. This year I think it will take a little while longer but I'm confident I'll get there.
Well done ladies though on your commitment, 2011 will be the year of skinny and solvent!!! (nb this isn't actual beer in these glasses due to calories but is some diet coke....)I've got my own flat :j:j

Woo hoo! Well done Eco!!! So was he quality or quantity??????
It was quantity the second lad I pulled was in the third pub we were in, I'd been to the loo and was coming back when I bumped into someone I used to work with years ago, heard one of my friends say who's she talking to now, he was telling me he'd got divorced 18 months ago, amongst other things, he's a nice lad tho, and later on was talking to another lad who used to work with my dad and he said it wasn't worth pulling me he'd only last 6 weeks, I nearly said you think a lot of yourself if you think you'll last that long, was a good night tho.
Back to work tomorrow for me, in a strange way looking forward to it, I've done nothing and been really tired, and am doing a spending diary and realised if I don't buy owt I don't have to remember to write in it, I think I'm onto a winner with that tip.0 -
Well everyone i hooveredthe car today and polished the vinyl plastic so it smells better now. I hate having a dirty car in winter lol.
Just been to asda, bought a roasted chicken £3.57 and will make sandwiches with it all week for work.
One thing I do need to get is a flask to make my brews.
I noticed them little blue dragon sauces that were 48p and 54p have gone up to 60p already.
Why dont the supermarkets or government do a really good thing and for one week reduce all the food prices to 1975 prices or something to give families a breather. With the vat going up its going to be tougher than ever now. I really think this country is on its way out.
Tomorrow im off to the hospital to get my thumb checked and will also check the oil and fluid levels in my car engine ready for the next bout of icy weather if it comes.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230
