Hi girls
Can I join you? I'm not in debt anymore, but I am single, and trying to budget, and save for a flat, and not eat too much chocolate or drink too much wine!
It would be nice to have some people who can relate to the single girl thing- all my friends are coupled up and I'm the only single gal left......:(

Welcome to the thread everyone!
So what is everyone up on NYE?
I'm out and about in the gay bars of Soho with my Gay Husband. Only trouble is I've got to get goose fat stain out of my red party dress that I wore on Xmas day!!!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Ooh get you. Me and my gay husband had lunch and a wee Prosecco today and he's going to pop over on New Years day for some food! I'm staying in with a mate I've known since uni days. We have much lovely food and wine and will get drunk and watch some ace tv/DVD's here. I bought Trainspotting (was out in our 1st year at uni and am a HUGE fan), Stell Magnolias and Shirley Valentine to enjoy whilst festering and talking rubbish. Can't wait!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Sounds fantastic, all great films!
I'm off to a friends place on NYD and there will be a few smug marrieds so I'm hoping that NYE goes well so I can rock up only slightly hungover but with a few fabulous stories!!!!I've got my own flat :j:j

I think NYE is going to be a quiet one for me and the gf, she has been away for 2wks and i'm working tomorrow and NYD so that evening will be precious to us! I think a couple of drinks followed by a stroll to the beach for fireworks at midnight is in orderThe size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

I'm out with my friends on NYE, didn't go out on Christmas eve as I was suffering from a cold, and I couldn't get drunk anyway as I do the driving on Christmas day, so out on NYE to get absolutly smashed, only off to Dewsbury so easy to get home when I find it hard to stand.
Have to go to work tomorrow, but as soon as I've done I can go home, my manager said I could start at 6am, I told him there was no way I'd be in for that time, going to aim for 7, don't know why but I've been really tired this holiday, and I've slept like a log, I think it's the not having much to do. Went shopping to Meadowhall on the 27th but didn't buy a lot only some Boots stuff and a Radley keyring, was quite pleased.
Make up don't worry about my family there's only one strange witch who's missing out with her weird take on life, she's a selfish cow anyway, my ex sis in law remarried years ago, and it's like nothing changed we all always got on, her new husband used to bring my neice and nephew to see my mum, and he'd make the kids drinks and stuff my mum said she didn't mind visitor's but wasn't going to run round after them, he always said he didn't mind doing it and it didn't feel odd, I always thought it must seem weird to some people but my mum liked his mum and dad too, so why my bros second wife got so uppity I'll never know.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Tis great eco to be honest!!!
Make up, be sure to enjoy your night in Soho then and aye save the stories for the smug marrieds! I went to an ace gay bar with a drag queen with my gay bestie last time I was in London. We started the night in Kettners...and ended it eating Macdonalds on the pavement!:beer::beer:'The road to a friends house is never long'0
