  • Best of luck to you in the job!.

I not been on here for abit. My dad passed away from metastatic bladder cancer on the 4th. I been off last week and this week sorting stuff out for my mum. He was 73 and went really downhill last week then had a fall and he is now at the university (he donated his body to research). In a couple of months we will be notified to come to a service for cremation.

But I was coping until today my boiler playing up, need to get some ntc sensors for it £16 each three of them. its working on and off.
Then when rinsing the salt off my car I found a tek screw firmly inserted into my front tyre tread too close to edge, but no air leak. Ordered a new toyo tyre £35 which will come tues hopefully.
So car not to move. So i cried a bit today in frustration.
Work been great, sent me cards ad flowers, been supporting mum too, had good day yesterday with my friend at tampopos in trafford centre had a wonderful meal and now this tyre thing.

Told mum I couldnt come to see her until it was removed, but she said not to worry. she been coping ok so far. My brother has helped us too. Back at work on monday so will get the bus to work.
Getting suspicious about my neighbour as had problems with him and my cats and warned him not to touch my car and I keep thinking hes screwed it in. But there is a skip on the street so it may have come from that. I not driven it since wednesday so could have been stuck in it all week.

  • Merry Christmas everyone..... May a single lady in her fifties join in with you all?
Most definitely single and hovering on the breadline, been in debt and had to take the BR way out. I am determined not to go there again, despite being made redundant this year.
Keeping off the booze - makes me morose.
