First day on the site and felt pretty hopeless this morning. However I can now see that I am not alone.
This site should have an IM forum

Don't worry, you'll be fine :A Now you have taken the first scary step and admitted you have a problem the rest will fall into place. It's not easy but you are not alone!

My only advice is not to be too strict with yourself, get fed up and then fall off the wagon big style! Like me, with a lot of debt to pay off, it will be a long haul and you need to have a life too :D

But it is possible to pay off big amounts, look at sarahb and Buffy, and makeup has just bought a flat :j

• Went to pics last night good film, watched 'red'.
All night last night and today Im in agony. My arm is aching from wrist to elbow to shoulder and up neck, tried bath, stretching, rolling my head lying down and doing slow exercises physio gave me, resting etc and its driving me to tears.
Next month, Ive got my operation on my thumb which shouldbe ok.
But Im feeling pretty low at the moment.
Not spent the £50 yet its emergency money.
Would be nice to have a nice fella to take me out cheer me up and give me a good shoulder and arm rub.

Physio did say I was in second stage of frozen shoulder. So back there again on wednesday for the same stretching motion they did.

Butterflies glad it's not me with the pain, I'm a wimp.

Feel I've done loads since I last posted so here goes, my sis is now ebying my stuff, and was looking at a site last night to sell CD's, it doesn't pay well but the way I see it is it's got to go and really the sooner the better since I saw my new next door neighbours. I've been talking to loads of people about living on a barge and I want to do it now, but hopefully in the next year I'll be nearly there, going to get solar panels on the top of it I have a friend who can help me with those, I've seen a site I would like to be on and a friends brother is on the site so going to pick his brains about it, cos hopefully I'll be able to take my fruit trees.

I've also got an admirer at work, well he doesn't work for us but he works for a company that repairs our vehicles, and the first thought I had was oh good I wonder if he knows anything about barge engines cos I know nothing about them, hopefully he'll be in on Friday and I can ask him about them, the only other snag is I think he's a lot younger than me, which would be a shame.

Miss Lauren get the car, I love been able to drive makes life so much easier.

Eco, a younger man could be just the thing to lift your spirits. Certainly don't rule him out on those grounds! Not saying it would work as some big serious thing but a bit of fun with a younger guy? There's worse ways to spend your Sunday!

Souk you are right, as I don't particularly want some big serious thing I'll keep my options open. It was one of the drivers who told me about him, kept wondering why he was always smiling at me when i saw him at work, just thought he was been polite, I'm such an idiot at times. Talking of younger guys I pulled a 24 year old on Saturday night, turns out we went to the same school tho not at the same time.

Hello there :D Well done on the 24yr old eco, I'm that exact age since my bday on friday!

The brewery isn't going anywhere fast atm and I'm still not getting paid which is pretty depressing. I've managed to use up both of my overdrafts again too so it's back to being a skintflint until a private investor comes through :(
