I dont usually watch freeview on my built in freeview tuner on my Samsung LE37r87BD but when i have tried to retune it after the freeview upgrade last month i am missing loads of channels and they are all the ones that come before sky3 ie bbc1 bbc2 itv channel 4 channel 5 etc.
i have reset the tuner but still cant get them.

Any suggestions?

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me with this. since 30th Sep, we have lost channel 5, ITV3 and some other stations. HOwever we watch telly on an applemac using a TV card, so have no idea how to 'retune' it. we have other digital tellies in the house which we have retuned ok

any ideas?

I am so fed up with all this changing about. We have sky in living room, fed through to 2 bedrooms, the bedrooms also have freeview boxes each. We can only watch the sky channel being watched in the living room when upstairs. No problem we had freeview until re-tuning. They both worked adequately before re-tuning, now one has died (was old) and the other has not got all the channels it used to. Especially not CITV!!!!!
Why do I have to:
1. upgrade my aerial
2. buy new boxes

This is not my asking, we were quite happy before all this came along, it is not as though we have a choice, I remain convinced this is the industry's way of keeping purchases alive. If the government want to implement these changes shouldn't they bear the brunt of new digital aerials. It is not for myself I am so annoyed it is for those like my elderly parents, who can ill afford to upgrade, but the tv is quite alot of company for them.

Rant over yes I know the boxes only cost approx £20, but what of the aerial upgrade, or do I feed Murdochs pockets and go multi room???

The first I heard about this re-tune lark was yesterday! Almost 2 months after the fact. I can only laugh at my lack of media input. How did I miss this one?

Now have 3 channels one of which is CBeebies! Already hooked on In the Night Garden LOL.

in bedroom the freeview box was working on updated arial(from ondigital/itvdigital days) but after the switchover it stopped
box is old itv digi box have tried freeview box from aldi too all i get is that red dot
