Have you restored your machine to factory settings rather than just looked for new channels? Delete all the channels you can get and THEN try searching again or wait till your local weather improves and try again.
Yes, I've done it now 4 times and even tried a manual search but no luck. These channels were lost before the retune though, I just hadn't got around to doing anything about it as I knew I would have to do it eventually. Thank you for your help and advice.

You could try a default/factory reset and then carry out a full scan, but it may default your TV to factory settings, ie, as it was when you first got it.

I've lost virgin + 1 (which is a pain) and dave ja vue, not sure what else as I didn't watch many of them anyway.

Just realised I've lost film 4. !!!!!!. Any ideas on getting it back again? The manual store option jumps from cn12-ch20.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Just read through this thread and realised I'm not the only person to have found the digital retune less than easy.....
I have a brand new Sanyo TV with a Sky magic eye relaying Sky from the main Sky box. I've retuned the TV successfully for all the Freeview channels, but when I click the TV/Digital button on the remote to access Sky, I'm getting a "No Signal" message. Sky is working perfectly on my other TV so I can only assume I need to find the right channel to receive it on this other one.
Haven't a clue how to start.....any simple-steps-for-technophobes would be most gratefully received!

The channels do not start until 21 so that is ok. You have lost muxD. You need to find what channel it is on from here http://www.wolfbane.com/cgi-bin/tvd.exe and manualy tune into the channel for muxD.
