I was enjoying that too. Apparently Matthew said they turned off the old signal but won't be turning on the new one yet...

It seems like Channel 5 is now back.

You might find the channels don't end up where you expect. eg, BBC 1 might end up at channel 801 or 1001. This could be due to a glitch in the firmware in your TV/PVR/STB or because it is picking up the same channel from two transmitters. You might need to install new firmware or delete all channels then rescan.

No channel 3, 4 and 5. I hadn't been getting channels 3 or 4 for a few months (about 8 months) but now I don't get 5 either? Grrrrrr!! What am I supposed to be made of money? would ask for one on freecycle (which is how I got this one) but know its now going to be flooded with ones that are just like mine.

Anyone have any decent models that DO work to save up for? will be waiting for the Jan sales for this.

You can buy a new one today for £19.99.

If you can afford a computer and broadband, I would have thought £19 would be affordable???

I didn't bother to re-tune until 1:45pm when channel 5 went dead, quick re-tune and 2 minutes later its all back! :j

Hi all, well i have virgin and nothing seems to of changed on my tv and i still havn't re-tuned, shall i still do it. i suppose theres no harm in it!

I've retuned and am now unable to view channel 5 as the channel breaks up. I've always had this issue with 3 and 4 but 5 has never been a problem before. So much for more people being able to view channel 5!!!
