We've made some progress recently, yes.

Provided the PAC isn't within 3 days of expiring it's working as it should, but all ports still need to be actioned at point of connection (ie no porting afterwards).

Can you translate that into plain, simple laymans terms please because I don;t understand the above.

Yes, we can do number ports onto Vodafone; but only if you request it when you order the phone (you can't get the phone, then call Voda and request the port).

PAC codes are valid for 30 days from issue but need to have 4 or more days validity left when submitted to us for us to be sure they'll work.

    Hi,
I can't offer sales support here as I feel that would be too close to "touting for business", so to discuss the above offer give oru Sales team a call?

When you order a Vodafone there is a field for PAC entry in the checkout process.

    Regards,

hi thanks but it says that pac code needs to be provided before completing order.

"If you wish to port your existing number to Vodafone you must request a PAC code from your current network and supply it to us before completing your order or the transfer will not be possible."

    thanks

P.s Ben Please feel free to pm me as I am unable to pm you regarding this offer

Ah, I see; it means "when you place your order" and I'll get this changed as I see where we went wrong :)

PM not allowed to or from Reps I'm afraid.

  • Hi Overkill,

Sincere apologies for that - it does indeed come from a roll of stickers and should also have had one of our "Postage Paid" labels attached, all cheques above a certain value are sent recorded/special as a matter of policy, in case we need to re-issue them.

As you might expect I let out a long sigh when I saw your posts this morning and can only apologise for the final 'insult to injury' here - we truly managed to snatch defeat from the jaws from victory on this one.

You can expect another cheque shortly, this time postage paid and untracked.

    Regards,

Wow ! 2 weeks / 10 working days later . . . .and ; not only NO stamp this time, but no envelope, no cheque and actually . . . . nothing !

I’m sure it might be the fault of the Post Office, or the wrong dept, or the person has been busy, or the wrong stamp, or even the wrong kind of leaves or something, but the truth is that this seems indicative of the service you can expect with MOBILES.CO.UK.

The Grand Gesture they made me was brilliant but in “Bens” own words “they fekked that up too!” and then they also failed to fix that too. I really think anyone else with a problem can expect the same ? (hope I’m wrong, Ben IS taking issues back) :rotfl:

Grand gestures can be great (was for me anyway thank you) but what your customers REALLY want is a reliable customer service !

Anyway you’ve broken me, I no longer have the energy to go on with you, you’ve won

. . . saying that its only 3 months till I enter the “cash back” time. So watch this space!

    Hi Overkill,
Hard luck mate ....Thought it was too good to be true ....are you sure that the cheque they sent wasn't a cashback cheque ...I'm still stunned by how fast you got it

I just thought everyone should know, (because a few people, nearly 4500 people) have been following my thread, that I've been let down by "them" again.

Also I think it's bull$hit that everyone gangs up on a few members here who've had problems, when they themselves have had no experience of it themselves . . How does that work ?

I can honestly say that MOBILES.CO.UK have broken me, I give up, YOU win (are you listening?).....

Edit:due to a bit too much bad Cider spelling last night ;-)

Yep. Another happy customer. Let's keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and believing the rubbish they spout - and shut up lest the progpaganda and spin should fail to reassure unsuspecting potential customers.
