I know mate, how hard is it to put a stamp on a fekkin letter . . I think this might show how much effort they put into customer care.
.... it's almost like they want to cause me even more grief ?
Anyway I dont think £30 is out of order ? . . . should be more like £50 !0 -

I cannot defend the indefensible. Even you thought Ben was trying to help but as you say has been let down by staff.
Mobiles do need to rethink their customer service standards and train staff to a higher standard.
I have stated more than once that I have been lucky and got a good deal and before anyone says I could have got better, I checked every site I could find at the time.
My gripe is with some members of this site who are like Victor Meldrew's twin and just gnaw away and moan continuously, it just gets boring. By all means state your complaint and respond when necessary but some of the diatribe on here is childish0 -
Naturally, it is nothing to do with Ben himself - his staff always let him down, poor thing!0

Of course it's Bens fault. How silly of me. He must have posted it and deliberately chose not to pay for the postage,
Naughty Ben:rotfl:0 -

You see, this is where you spoil it for yourself. We know that Ben is the Marketing Director/manager and it is painfully obvious from other posts that other staff request and send out cashback and other cheques. It seems fairly obvious, therefore, that some clerk has turned a potential victory into a defeat. A dig at the company for that was well in order.
But you had to get a dig in at Ben personally when any reasonably minded person who has ever worked in a decent sized company can see what had almost certainly happened.
But your personal vendetta has caused you to get a low blow in and, once again, expose your desire to get at the rep in preference to any objectivity.
That little sentence I quoted of yours speaks volumes about you as a person.0 -
What speaks volumes is your constant search for excuses for the representative of the company who merely posts spin and (mainly) untruths. Whether he puts a stamp on a letter on merely defends his colleagues who don't has no bearing on his complicity in the way they actually treat their customers - as many are now finding out, to their cost. I have worked in large companies and small; been an employee and self-employed. There is zero excuse for an organisation which treats its customers so badly and none at all for the Mouthpiece which is quick to applaud its organisation whilst pretending that all is fine with the way they treat people.0

Oh for pete's sake stop being so rude and obnoxious.0 -
Don't know who Pete is but he obviously doesn't like me telling it as it is.0

So back to your original quote. The point I made in my follow up was, once again, sidestepped in your usual manner when you don't like the point and then obfuscated with irrelevant waffle since we all accept that this was a very poor show by the company.
I am being pin-point specific about your unnecessary personal dig quoted above and not any other of your many other diatribes.
1. Do you actually believe that Ben himself put the letter/cheque in the envelope without a stamp?
2. Do you believe that mobiles.co.uk staff directly under his management let him and the company down?
Straight answers or more practical demonstrations of the fine Christmas game "Twister"? The choice is yours - the "audience" can make up their own minds.0
