Does she have to come into the house for the bathroom?
TBH I think anything that makes you feel uncomfortable in your own home is a no no.0 -
I cant beleive this last sentence, your blaming your parents because yur wife got pregnant when you were young . Did you not know how babies were made or did it not occur to you. Presumably your parents were giving you the benefit of the doubt that you were being 'careful and responsible'
If you hadnt been having unprotected irresponsible sex in your parents house, you would have been having unprotected irresponsible sex somewhere else. anywhere else, when your teenagers.
My bf was allowed by my mum to stay over from the age of 14/15 and it makes me sick to my stomach now that it was allowed.
Parents should be protecting young teens not encouraging them, and not giving them the benefit of the doubt because at that age children are children and sometimes need protecting from themselves. This is the parents job, not giving them free rein of their house for underage sex but advising against it IMHO.0 -
? When my brother was that age he was banging his girlfriend in the room next door to my parents.
They are now 4 years happily married. :j
He has gone to the trouble of making a home of sorts what some interpret as outside of your area (in the garden not in the house) in order to gain independence; that's thoughtful. I'm sure he'd be disappointed to learn that you class the garden the same as you class your home.
I would let it go a little more, and then push him out of the nest by prohibiting this or causing problems. This would be a good kick up the backside.
If it disgusts you, let him know what it's like and that you've (probably) avoided them hearing you have sex so to please keep it out of our minds in return.
If there's a religious side to all this I can understand that because I am studying Taoism and other religious views on the matter; you want to carefully choose who you share your soul with, don't want to inflate the ego etc. (I understand what purpose inhibited views are meant to achieve). If your son is educated in this kind of knowledge, and then feels this isn't something that matches his experience in shagging then you got to respect that decision.Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker0 -
My boyfriend and I frequently stay at each others houses (He's 20, I'm 19). Our parents are fine with it really. We've decided to go by the "not when they're in the house" rule. Or sometimes when we're sure they're asleep.
I suppose its what you feel is right for you. As for the sleeping in different rooms idea... Am I the only one that would feel weird sleeping in the main house with the bf out in the den in the garden, or vice versa? I'd feel either like I was intruding into their personal space, or been abandoned to the garden.*insert witty comment here*0 -
