Well done Rotherham lass for deciding to get back on track.

Had a strange flashback today - I used to go to a class where the Ww leader encouraged us to use a visualisaiton for the weight we'd lost, to spur us on to lose more. She used bags of sugar, but told us she could never forget one lady who used chickens - every 3lb she's lost was the equivalent of a whole chicken.:rotfl:

How many chickens has everyone lost so far?:D

  • Ha ha! Just the 2 chickens for me so far. I was going to say something about big !!!!(erels) but that would be rather uncooth so I won't. :D:D
  • Oooh. I have just been censored! :rotfl:

We knew what you meant anyway, don't worry! :rotfl:

I've only lost one chicken so far, but thanks for the analogy - makes me feel like I've achieved something. :D

lol at Rotherham lasses cockerels :rotfl: The censor on here is here for a reason, but sometimes it's funny -
you can't type S!!!!horpe, the seaside town, without being censored either.:rotfl:

6 blocks of lard = one chicken

4 chickens = one medium turkey

So far I've lost enough to feed about 16 people on Christmas day!:rotfl:

I'm having a bad few days, I just want to cram junk into my mouth. Not TotM, I think its the dull horrible weather. I'm tracking everything, but would like to get back to eating healthier points. Weigh in tomorrow then away for the weekend. I'm going to try and look up points before I go and try a little damage limitation.

    Happy Friday everyone.:j

Lost 2.5 lbs this week. :j

    That's me got another 7 star.:j

Had my appointment to get my feet sorted this week - I'm an overpronator so maybe once they're sorted I'll be jumping about for real.:j

Off on our weekend away later today. I've bought hangover snacks, but have written the points on them. 11 points for a bar of Green and Black's milk chocolate. I'm glad I bought the mini jaffa cake min pods - 2.5 points per pod.

ailuro2 - congrats, that is great!!!!!!

    Enjoy your weekend away.

I haven't weighed in all week, don't want to tempt fate. I've done ok but not great, just haven't been on here as I feel frustrated at not losing. Will see what Monday brings.

Tara - 'OK' is good enough, don't let it get you down. Keep at it, it will come off if you're doing everything right.

Fab ailuro2 well done! Hope you have a great weekend away.

Had a preview WI this morning - stayed the same, so not expecting great results this week. That's ok as I don't feel like I've done so well, haven't gone over my points but haven't been as 'in control' as I'd like. Just been stuffing things in my mouth without thinking about it properly - I recognise this behaviour as what got me here in the first place! I think I need to plan my meals more carefully next week, and maybe try a few new recipes to keep it interesting.

Tara, hopefully you'll get a good surprise on Monday? Looking at your signature, you are less than you weighed in February - I could gain 2 stone in that time! But you haven't so a big well done for that in iteslf :)
