OK, so some of us have joined WW on a 3-month trial for free thanks to the lovely Quidco : )

Someone had the genius suggestion that we should see what we get for our 5p (or was it minus 5p?) by tracking our weight loss in a dedicated thread. You can see by my sig that I have been struggling to shift weight since January, so I will try anything at this stage! The challenge will start now and finish at Christmas, when we will all post our finishing weight on Christmas Eve and then proceed to eat ourselves silly over the festive period (joke!!!).

Who’s in and willing to kick off with a starting weight? I’ll weigh in tomorrow morning and post the details…

Maybe the first post should have a list of members in it… so I’ll start:

Great! Looking forward (as much as one can) to WI tomorrow and then we can all get started!!! Everyone else, feel free to join in!

I am waaaay over my 17 points today, oh hell! Does your points total assume no exercise? If I log my activity, can I earn extra points? Please say yes...

It would appear so... I haven't done any activity today (apart from running up and downstairs about 100 times to four poorly members of my family....lol!!)... but I have just played around with the plan manager....say for 30 minutes of aerobics, it gives you 2 activity earned points.. but it doesn't add it onto your 'daily allowance'.... maybe it'll add them on at the end of the week or something???

    Tara... just found this:

You can swap the activity POINTS values you earn for extra food POINTS values - for times you need an extra treat. You may lose more weight if you don’t use them, but using them doesn’t eliminate your potential to lose weight. The only rule is that swapped activity POINTS values must be used within the week that you earned them.

lexuslass - thanks for that. It'll give me extra motivation to do exercise. I already walk at least an hour a day and usually do some stairs as well - so I will do a little extra every day and log it.

Do you have to eat all your points, I remember someone saying that WW do not recommend eating less than your points (unless you're saving them up for the weekend or whatever) . Not that it will be a problem for me!!! :rotfl:

    17 BLOOMING POINTS AAGGGGHHH

Oh, by the way - I weighed in this morning at 136lbs or 9st10lbs. The heaviest I've ever been!!! So WW couldn't have come at a better time for me. I feel yuk.

My first resolution is to STOP buying clothes as I am so determined to lose this weight and get back into my skinny stuff. And then the bigger stuff will not be needed.

I am going to hunt out a pic of myself when I was 20lbs lighter a stick it on the fridge.

I am also going to print out a list of no-point and low-point foods/dishes and Filling Foods and eat them regularly!

    That'll do for now! :rotfl:

    Hi,

Ive also joined ww, I weighed 10 stone on Sat, and I had lost 3lbs yesterday but before haveing 2 kids I weighed 8 stone so will be happy if I get back to 9 stone.

I know I can do it its just being at home all day I tend to pick at bits all day, so I need to stop that, but its great to have some support!!

Where do you find the 0 point foods?
