They're worried you're going to be wearing the same size of clothes as them;) And their brains can't handle it - it's not malicious, it's just they were comfy with good old chunky wigwam, now you're just a little tent their minds need a while to adjust to it.:D

You put it beautifully, I was just about to say the same thing! wigwam, take no notice of them. You know what's right for you.

Im slightly confused, yesterday I had a bag of special k mini bites 1.5 points (easy) then I had another bag:o so changed it to 2 bags which then equaled 2.5 points?

    Dont know why?

Anyway I stuck to my 17 points , and Im breastfeeding but havent allowed myself those extra points.

kaza, could be because one bag is 1.32 points but they round it up to 1.5, then 2 bags equals 2.64 points so they round it down to 2.5. I'm just guessing though!

If you're breastfeeding you do actually need the extra calories! Did you enter that on the WW site? I'm sure they would not give a breastfeeding mum 17 points. Check it and see xo

How are you managing to stick to 17 points btw??? I am determined to do it today, but it is going to be hard!! :o

I weighed in this morning at 9st9.2lbs, so it would seem that I have lost 0.8lbs in a day! I'm not daft though, I know it's probably fluid. But it gave me a little thrill.

I think you are spot on about the rounding of the points... I had two slices of wholemeal yesterday and the tracker done the same to me... gave me 1 point for 1 slice and 1.5 for two slices!

Will remember to have two slices at a time in future instead of just one...well it'll save me half a point in the long run!! :rotfl:

Welcome to everyone! I should say that I don't want to take anyone away from the half-stone threads and I will continue to post there myself, just hoping that it doubles the motivation! :o I didn't want to clutter up the half-stone thread with all the talk of WW, that's all. This is purely a 3-month challenge thread and there will be a few 'half-stoners' joining in I am sure (like Rotherham Lass ).

So I've posted all the weights in the first post, off we go!

RoxieW, are you logging any exercise you do to increase your points allowance? I have no idea how I am going to manage on just 17 points but am hoping to do more exercise to earn extra points. I am also going to cut down on bread, pasta etc as I read someone saying on the other thread that they are very high in points. But it is still scary! Logging my points will be very hard too as I cook almost everything from scratch...

:hello:Yes I've been logging my activity but slaving for an hour in the gym only earns me 2 measly extra points :( I also cook from scratch most days so its hard to track points - always seem to use more points that way too with all the seperate ingredients.

On a good note - stuck to my points for the last 2 days - although I am absolutely ravenous! Going to stick to it until Friday when I have a curry night out planned so dread to think lol.

Hi, Thanks for that I didnt think about rounding points up/down.

I initilally put I was breastfeeding and it gave me another 5.5 points, when i said I wasnt it knocked it down to 17 points and I didnt think I would loose weight on 23 points. Breastfeeding only uses about 200 cals a day allthough my little man feeds about 10 times a day.

I resisted weighing myself today although i was tempted, but I will try and stick to Mondays.

The last time i dieted 10 years ago i went from 12 stone to 8 stone in 3 months as I had the motivation to do it as i had got a job as cabin crew, anyway the first week i weighed myself i had lost 8lbs so that was a real motivator. After having 2 kids I have put on 2 stone so Ijust want to shift at least a stone of that.

I think that this thread will motivate me its nice to be able to chat/ share ideas or just moan that your starving!

So for all of you struggling it can be done because I did it and kept it off for 7 years, but you do need determination and willpower!!

    Good Luck

Trying to shift my baby weight! I weighed just over 8stone (Im 5"5) before I fell pregnant for the second time, my little boy is 8 weeks old now and I weigh 9stone 10oz. I weighed myself day after I gave birth and I was 10stone 5oz so not done too bad so far. I go to the gym twice a week for an hour and Iv cut out alot of fatty foods!
