karenx, I'm not sure we'd be able work out your points TBH! Sorry! Anyone able to help? Hope WW sorts you out soon with your points allowance xoxo

I've just had a poached egg and toast for dinner, also had a sweet craving so just had a meringue nest with plain low fat yogurt. That's me finished eating for the day... promise!

Evening all! I've posted all the members and weights in the first post so you're all accounted for!

I'm debating what to have for dinner with my 2 leftover points... argh! I have walked a fair bit though, so must log that...

    Thanks for that Tara...

Crikey... am I gutted or what!

I had 7 leftover points on Monday... 3 yesterday... and have 9.5 leftover today...

I was adamant I wasn't going to weigh myself before Friday.. but just been into the bathroom and saw the scales and couldn't resist... got on them... what have I lost? Nothing! Diddley Squat! Zero! The 4.5lbs I had lost between Friday and Sunday through being ill have piled back on... so I am exactly the same as I was 5 days ago!!

Off to open a bottle of wine!!!
  • From the WW handbook. You need to add up the relevant scores to work it out:

    female score 3
    male score 9

    Age

    16-20 score 5
    21-35 score 4
    36-50 score 3
    51-65 score 2
    over 65 score 1

    Weight

Add on the number of stones you weigh, round down ie 12st 4lbs you score 12.

    How tall?

    under 5ft 4ins 1 point
    5ft 4ins or above 2 points

In day to day life, do you?

sit down most of time? score 0
occasionally sitting mostly standing? score 2
walking most of time? score 4
doing phsyically hard work most of time? score 6

The total score is your daily allowance. Good luck! HTH

    Noooooooo, don't do it!!!

Why do you have so many points left over? What is your points allowance again? I'm 2.5 points over, even after taking my activity into account. How are you managing to be under? I am obviously just a greedy pig! :o

Argh, seems my 17 points is correct!!! Thing is, I am usually quite active outside of my desk-based job, but I had to put 'sit down most of the time' and I guess I'll just log my activity points on top.

I am so with you missy, 17 points sounds so stingy!! I have spent the last half hour looking up 0-3.5 point recipes and adding them to my favourites. I'm going to print them all and make a ring binder, which will come in very handy when my WW trial comes to an end! :D

Well done all, Everyone is doing so well. For some reason the gremlins are at work and my account is not letting me quote or thank people

Ritaroo Welcome to the board and MSE

Tara747 hope you found a nice treat for 2 points and thanks for keeping the board organised.

Kaza well done for not blowing it, its so easy to just lose track and give up!

I think im doing ok, battery in scales died tonight so estimated pasta weight and then doubled points to make sure. As a bit of a chocoholic low point treats i've found so far are:
    Wagon wheel - 3 points
Treat size twix (short individual bar) - 2.5 points
Treat size twirl (short twin pack in multipack - 4 points

Or like today no chocolate, save 3 points and a full size wispa tomorrow Yay!!
  • Lexus - hope u didn't get to the wine! keep at it and u will def get there - we all will! i am on and off the scales all the time but have decided that only my WI day weight will count using the scales at the gym...

Just to let peeps know (in the interest of MSE) been looking on mysupermarket.com for WW stuff - asda have mini naans on at 2 packs for £1 - 8 naans in total - looks like they are 2 points each Tesco are doing WW wraps for 50p (!!) and only 1.5 points each ....planning to stock up as both should be freezable!

I didn't do the wine!! Although I did think sod it and I had a bottle of lager!!

My daily allowance is 23 points... The reason I have so many points left over is that I still haven't felt right so have only been eating light meals.

e.g. Monday, I had Bowl of cornflakes with skimmed milk (2 pts), 1/2 can heinz vegetable soup & 2 pieces of medium sliced bread (3 pts), then in the evening I just had a ham sandwich (2 pts), cherry tomatoes (0 pts) and a banana (1.5 pts!!). I also had 2 bottles of lucozade (4 pts each - but I did just need the energy from them!!!). Giving me a total of 16.5 points for the day.

Yesterday, I had cornflakes (with whole milk 2.5pts), ham sandwich on wholemeal bread (2 pts), and in the evening, 1.5 medium jacket potato with cottage cheese and salad (4.5pts). Then I had bottle of lager (!!! :o 2.5pts) and OH sat there eating a big bar of Galaxy, so I just had two small chunks to suck - logged it as 1/3 standard bar (2 pts). Gave me a total of 13.5 pts for the day.

I'll persevere with it, I'm not going to give up!! This thread is a fantastic motivator and every other post I read gives me an incentive and shows that it can work... Well done to all of you on here!!! :T My body is obviously very attached to it's excess and doesn't want to let it go very easily.. so the fight starts here!!! :rotfl:

Thanks... I will not get on the scales again till Friday (holy doo doo... that's tomorrow!!)

I am just going to go and get on the wiifit while the two little ones are quiet!! See if that helps any!!
