Thanks for all the WW food tips!! :D

lexuslass, your 16.5pt menu is what I should be eating... I am just going to have to get on with it. I keep looking at the 3pt dinners and thinking 'that looks quite substantial' but I bet the portion sizes are tiny in reality! 60g of pasta per person anyone? My OH would have a fit! I guess I will have to make a bigger portion for him or eat separately...

So far today I have had a low fat Greek yog (250g) and 2 small squares for 70% chocolate (I know, I know... I blame TOTM) so will log that later. I am going to have to devise a more substantial low point breakfast as the Greek yog is not filling me for long enough. Anyone got any ideas? Preferably I should be eating it at home and not at work, but I can't stomach food before leaving the house.

I am the same... I cannot stomach anything as soon as I get up... I need to be awake for a good hour and a half before I can eat!!

Crumpets are 1pt each.. but then I couldn't just have one and it's the lashings of butter I'd have over them that would do me in!!

Do you like weetabix? you could have a couple of those (2pts for 2) and put some fresh fruit on them (like they used to do on the weetabix challenge on the ads) which wouldn't add any points.

Or how about an egg on a couple of pieces of medium sliced toast? That would only be 3 points.

Or one of my faves is mushrooms on toast - slice mushrooms, put them in a bowl of water in the microwave and cook for about 2 minutes... that would only cost you 1.5 points for two pieces of toast. You have to dry them off with kitchen paper so they don't make your toast soggy and I have to have loads of black pepper on it tho but it is yummy (well it is if you like mushrooms!!)

Or tomatoes on toast would only be the points value of the toast - either tinned or grilled fresh tomatoes?

Or you could have a banana....1.5 Points!!!!! I still can't get over that! :rotfl:

what bread is everyone eating to keep their points down?

i find the WW own brand, a bit thin, and burns easily

but, shop bought loaves, like Kingsmill are coming in at 1.5pts per slice

I've been using Warburtons. To be honest, I like my bread (too much...lol!!) and I wouldn't even consider swapping to the lower fat/calorie breads.

I have changed from thicker sliced to medium sliced tho... it comes in at 1 point per slice... but if you have two slices, it's 1.5 points (it's to do with the roundings as mentioned before).

I have also bought wholemeal, but white has the same points values too.

im not sure how WW work this? i buy warburtons medium white too, but WW say one slice is 24g, but they actually weigh nearer 40g, which makes them 1.5pts per slice!

just wondering are you using the Warburtons WW bread, or do you mean the standard loaf in a blue wrapper?

Its just i was doing an online shop, and sainsburys list all the calories next to the item, so i was checking to see which came up lowest using the 'create food' tool, rather than the tracker. Out of all the shopbought bread, it looks like sainsburys basics wholemeal has the lowest point value

Yes, it's the standard loaf in the blue wrapper...

Actually, I bought Hovis Wholemeal yesterday... as they'd got no warburtons and I've just looked on the tracker and theirs is 2.5 points for two slices as opposed to 1.5 for Warburtons!! Only just thought to check... will definitely be buying Warbs in future!!! :o
