Hey guys - wandered over here to join you all! tara (how you doing hun?!)
pls can you add me to page 1 -
Starting weight mon 28/9/09 12st 12lb
Aiming for 10st 12lb by January
I'm on 23 points a day (lucky me!!) and doing OK on it so far - haven't really felt hungry much at all and trying to have water when i do.
Changes i have made to my life to get the most of WW:
- drinking lemon/green tea at night and if possible hot water and lemon in the morning
- eating more of the 0 or lower pointed foods at each meal, e.g. more salad with evening dinner
- have joined the free gym and been going 3-4 times a week for mix of a gym session, swimming and excercise class. Will be doing Wii Fit on the days i don't get to the gym
- changed my mindset to accept that weight loss will take time and means making changes to my life forever to stay thin
- Picturing myself at family wedding in April wearing what i want to wear and looking fan- blooming - tastic!0 -
Well being 2 points over today I though oh blow it today start again tomorrow, then I set off to walk to school and got thinking - mm walked to school 4 times (4 miles total) am breastfeeding and Ive not counted either.
So Im not actually over so Im going to have a tin of tomatoes (zero points) for tea, and Ive had a good day instead off blowing it cos I got all negative.
So come on girls we can do it!! Lets stay positive0 -
RoxieW - no idea how I am going to stick to 17 points, I am up to about 13 already after a very healthy breakfast and lunch! I guess the only thing for it is to do more exercise and get my points down by printing the lists of filling foods, low points recipes and sticking to them. How are you coping with the hunger?
karenx - welcome to our wee thread! You're doing so well already, congratulations! I am the same weight as you so will be interested to follow your progress (mine has been non-existent over the last few months).
kaza - the activity points are a great incentive to do more exercise, aren't they! A tin of tomatoes for dinner eh, sounds a bit unappetising!!! :rotfl: Do you like tinned toms on their own?
plzhelpmesave - hello and thanks for planting the idea of a challenge thread in our heads!! Your list of changes sounds very positive and doable, and focusing your mind will help a great deal. I am going to resurrect my own 'to do list' from the half stone thread a few months ago and maybe repost it here.
I am having problems editing the first post to add everyone's weights but I promise to do it this evening! xoxoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Kaza - you really need to put the extra fuel in or you'll end up putting all the weight back on really quickly.;)
Have the 23 points and see how you get on after a couple of weeks. ime breastfeeding left me starving, I needed a lot more than an extra 200 calories and still lost weight even though I wasn't on a diet.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Hi Tara747 can I join too please? My weight is 11st 10. Have been lurking on this site for some time and managed to get the 5p WW deal (thanks Wigwam). This has encouraged me to actually register at last and talk to all you lovely people.
I am a stay at home mum like a few others. Managed to put on a stone with each pregnancy and have run out of excuses now my boys are 4 and 3. Would like to get down to 10 stone. I went to a WW meeting last week but doubt I can do that every week as I have just started childminding so may not be free.
Hopefully this would help me stay on track with this as have never really bothered dieting before(although I should have), like my food and wine too much.
I have 20 points and like most others finding it a struggle already. Made some 0 point veg soup but had such a headache all day couldn't be bothered to chew it. Need to investigate more low point options.0 -
