Thanks ailuro and tara! Must admit I find this thread vey helpful with keeping me on the straight and narrow
ailuro2 - my first thought was 'oo I want a keyring!', but then I thought there's no way I want complete strangers or even people I know, to notice it and know that I do WW! Plus if it was on the car keyring then DH (6' 2, very fit and slim) would make me get my own keys cut lol.
tara - pah, how annoying! Any ideas why?
Not really. I was a bit bad at the weekend but it mainly involved sushi and stir fries, so not THAT bad. I'll probably WI every day this week just to see if it's a blip lol!!!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Tara - were you naughty a week ago? Bouts of naughtiness can catch up on you the week after, at least they seemed to when I did class based WW. I'd think I'd got away with a few treats on a weekend when I stepped on the scales and got an unexpected weight loss , then I'd be good all week only to gain the next week
The class leader would always ask if it was the week before catching up on me!
NBirdy I think going to class can sometimes feel like admitting failure, but doing this on line and (hopefully) getting compliments about looking different and being able to say 'oh, do you think so, thanks!' is easier in a way. I do agree this thread keeps me on the straight and narrow - especially when you just overtook my weight loss with your three pounds off.;) Just kidding - I don't feel this is a competitive thread at all, just one where we can come and admit to being bad, or come and get a pat on the back for a good weight loss. I'm happy to lose whatever it is I'm losing just by sticking to the plan, and even with the odd mishap along the way it's coming off steadily enough. If I stall I've got exercise to fall back on. I've got my martial arts classes, but still need to up my fat burning activity to more regular than sometimes once a week.:oMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

it's only five and a half weeks till Christmas, that means I still have time to drop a few more pounds and fit in a few gym workouts before Santa arrives.
This is what you really meant to say, Tara, isn't it?

Hehe ailuro2, I didn't know there was a league table lol! My BMI is still 29.1 though
just to put it into perspective. I've a long way still to go. Down to 18 points now too  so it's getting harder and your comment about bad weeks coming back to bite you is haunting me!
And people noticing and commenting - what's that then? Still hasn't happened here
tara - fingers crossed it's just a blip....0 -
NBirdy - well done hun! massive loss in not a lot of time - you should be soooo proud of yourself!
NOW share the secret of your success!! i keep putting the same few pounds on and off and getting a bit fed up as have not lost a massive amount and have actually cut out loads of crap I was eating before and do eat much small portions and have started excercising more than I ever did - so why ain't I thin yet????????
Bit cheeky, but if you have time could you share your daily menus with us/me?? any any other changes youve made... thanks hun0 -
The only person who has commented is my wonderful DH, who says he can feel the difference in my size when he hugs me.:A
There's no league table, I was just kidding! A BMI of 29.1 is great - have you realised you're no longer classed as obese if your BMI is now under 30.:j
from the NHS website
If your BMI is less than 18.4, you're underweight for your height.
If your BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9, you're an ideal weight for your height.
If your BMI is between 25 and 29.9, you're over the ideal weight for your height.
If your BMI is between 30 and 39.9, you're obese.
If your BMI is over 40, you're very obese.
I wasn't just obese before, I'd slipped over into the very obese category. I've a long way to go before I get to a BMI of under 30! but at least it's under 40 now.:oMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Good luck losers for this week.0 -
Ok, feels a bit weird doing this, but here goes...
Yesterday was
B - Black coffee + sugar (0.5) and cinnamon/raisin bagel (3.5)
L - Wholemeal pitta (2) with mushrooms, onions and peppers done in Fry Light, with a bit of brown sauce (0.5). Apple (0.5)
Snack - coffee (0.5) with 2 chocolate digestives (2.5)
D - 2 Asda GFY sausages (2.5), 2 eggs (2.5), bubble&squeak made with swede, butternut squash, green beans, carrots, onion and cauliflower (0). Bit of tomato ketchup (0.5). Wall's mini Twister ice lolly (1).
Total 16.5 points. I can usually do without the choccie biscuits so would save some more points then (or have a bit of chocolate lol!). Then I could have a 'naughtier' day somewhere else in the week with the saved points.0
