Hi blushingbride, the 'free' trial has now ended but going via Quidco will still get you £15 cashback, which helps a bit towards the cost of it.

plzhelpmesave! I started at 13st and in an ideal world would like to be 10st (size 10-12 for me), but realistically I'd be very happy anywhere between 10st and 11st, as that would make me a 12-14, instead of my current 16-18 :( I'm terrible at exercising though so it could be a struggle, and I'll end up all flabby and wobbly no doubt! Still, I can disguise that with clothes :D

Hehehe I just checked my 'Healthy Weight Range' and my goal of 10 stone is still above what WW class as a healthy weight :rotfl:

Good grief, the only time I've been under 10st (just!) was when I got married, and my size 10 clothes were baggy on me. I would look awful at almost 3 stone less than that!

I'm just going to stick with what I know works for me, and 10st ish is it.
  • tclci and Nbirdy - Looks like we have about the same kind of goals then ladies! I am aiming to eventually by around the 10 stone mark so have 2and a half stone to lose - sounds soo much less than saying 3 stone to lose! Would like to be a consistent and long lasting size 12 and wear the things that I really like, esp sale stuff!:money:

WI at the gym has me at 12.7lbs!:j:j well happy with that as its 3lb loss from last week! wahey! Had put on last week due to TOTM SO REALLY HAPPY to have got rid of that a bit more!

Not really sure how realiable to scales are but hopefully using the same ones each week at about the same time and in the same clothes is as accurate as you can get eh?!

Did Bums and tums class AND did 25 mins swimming swimming so 4 activity points to save today. Time and weather permitting may try to squeeze in a 20 min walk later when I go to my aunts. Swimming always makes me go to the loo every 30 mins for the rest of the day so will need to tone up the pelvic floor as well as everything else!

Lets keep it up guys! Our losses and the fact we have about the same amount to lose has really motivated me and hopefully we'll all keep at it!

I know I am eating a lot lot less junk that I was before starting this so just that fact is good news!
  • p.s. how do i find out on the WW site what my ideal weight is/should be?

Well done on your weight losses

NBirdy, WW is right, you don't want to lose more than 2 lb a week on a regular basis, as you could be losing muscle too, which you definitely don't want - no engine left to burn the calories up then. Because you didn't lose weight last week then it evens itself out for this week. Make sure you eat up all your daily points, no missing any of them out (not that many of us have that problem:rotfl:)

here's the WW link to healthy weights - puts you in a range of 20 to 25 BMI no matter what your frame/muscle mass is, so there's an amount to play with there. 8st 8 to 10st 10 for me, I was 9 and 1/2 stone when I left school, so I doubt I'm ever going to get anywhere near 8st8, that's just not right for me. I lost weight many years ago, lowest ever adult weight is 10st 6 and 1/2 in those days that didn't count as goal, I needed to get under 10st for that. Looking back at the pics I lok really thin in the face. Must dig them out and have a look.
One stone at a time is all I'll be hoping for.

  • where are you all ladies?

Thanks Ali - found ideal weight bit. My BMI has already come down from obese to overweight - just by losing 5lbs! was on 31 and am now on 30 so that is good news!

Been to the gym for a bums and tums class and then did 20 cardio in the gym and worked up a good sweat and got some activity points!

Had no proper brekkie this morning as we were running late so have just had my weetabix and skimmed milk, lunch is soup or a salmon wrap, and dinner is spinach & potato curry with 1.5 chapattis and lots of water and salad! Snacks are alpen light bar and WW yoghurts - have 2 and they go out of date tomorrow so my eat both!

Met a lady at the gym today who lost 2.5 stone between sept-dec last year on WW and by going cycling every day after work with the kids in the park! She has maintained and only just put on 7lbs over the summer holidays so is in the gym lose it again. So we can do it ladies!!

I'm still here! Just feeling a bit grotty with totm - darned short cycles  Still, it probably means the worst of the bloat should be gone by my next weigh-in :)

    I'm here too!

Only have 5 points left for dinner tonight, I'm going to have to be inventive with the veggies I think...

I'm off to see how much ready cooked roast chicken costs.... I might have that shredded with some lettuce, half a point of mayo and mixed salad with some BNS fries on the side...

  • I stayed the same this week but I am not too surprised. I went out for 3 meals and had a cold so not much exercise. I have to pick that up this week. Aiming for 2 lbs loss next week.;)
