ritaroo..
leftovers .. put them straight in the bin as they finished that way you wont be able to pick if they onthe side or put salt or washing up liquid over them you defo wont want to pick after that..
nothing off is still nothing on.. and that in itself is a godsend.. remember its not just the scales that matter as the scales only one part of losing weight..Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
Or put the leftovers in a tupperware box for your lunch the next day. The more you nibble on it the less you get for your lunch!
I had roast lamb too and it was delicious! Not feeling positive about weigh in tomorrow though.:o0 -
depends what kind of leftovers.. fish fingers etc not good for points.
keep positive .. its only one WI lots more to show your getting there
good luckThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

just a quick visit to say well done to all the losers who had a Monday weigh in!
Even if you stayed the same that's fine, if you put on then give yourself a kick up the butt...
NBirdy - didn't I say you'd shrink somewhere if it wasn' on the scales.
The trousers I wear for work are droopy on me already, I found a smaller pair in my wardrobe last night, but they're too tight across the backside, so I'll have to make do with my droopy a$$ed look till I shed another bit off my butt.:rotfl: Thank goodness I work in a factory full of men so I don't really need to look that smart for work.:TMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Well done everyone on your shed pounds this week!
I've not been very active on this thread over the last few days had a flamin cold friday - so it's been nice reading your updates!
My weigh in is Friday... don't think I'll have any lost this week - been comfort eating due to feeling so naff!!
am0329 - the wiifit is brilliant! You'll have to come and join us on the wiifit thread!0 -
My problem is rushing around after small children means I don't seem to have much time to actually sit down and eat so I tend to grab something on the run, or eat their leftovers of course, fatal. Then in the evening I feel myself and hubbie need something substantial so usually we eat too much. Will def try to look up some more recipes on WW site.
if youre hungry when it the kids teatime, eat with them, rather than waiting til later with hubby. The longer you put off waiting to eat, the hungrier you will be, and the more you will eat. Perhaps just save yourself a pud or treat, that you can eat whilst hubby has his tea, that way you wont be drooling over his plate
Or if leftovers are common with your kids, then you are obviously putting too much on their plates. Dont create eating problems for them for the future, by distorting their 'portion' control. If they only eat 1 fish finger and 5 chips at teatime, give them only that. if they are still hungry afterwards, then there are other things that can be given as top up, and youll know that next time, you should up the rations

good advice as always FLea! i do that with my kids, feed them on kid sized plates and only give them what i know they can eat and always tell them they can have more when they have finished. More than happy when they ask for more and always let them have it. Ritaroo- bin leftovers or box them up before you start nibbling!
Well done on the losses gang! at least some of us are losing, so its all good!
I have been in bed sinice yesterday with a migraine so no real excercise since thursday! and its TOTM so have been shovelling chocolate down my throat....
Have not weighed myself - at home or at the gym! will probably not weigh in this week as wont go to the gym til thursday - so may as well wait til monday! although i should really weigh myself so i know what TOTM brings!
need to gt my act together this week - gone all over the place with bad eating, not tracking properly and other stuff!
Have read the blogs on the WW site and tbh it scared me how long it has take some of them to reach their goals! one woman took a year to lose a stone!! which makes me worry that i will never last that long to lose just that amount!
I had promised myself that i would at least stick to WW and going to the gym 3 times a week until the end of the year and hope to make a real and visible difference to myself in that time. Need to get that motivation back quick time and stick to it!!
Nbirdy, im sure they say that if you have had a really good loss one week, you will lose less the following week...? so that means you should be losing again next week hun.0 -

if they have taken a year to loose a stone, then they are lying. Either to themselves, about how much they eat, or to the readers of their blogs, in that they havent followed it continuously for the year
Even losing 1/2lb a week would mean you lost over 1st in a year, and lets be honest, just going to the loo, before weigh-in would knock that amount off :rotfl:
So dont get scared by the stories. they are not you, and they prob didnt get the support they needed to achieve their goal. Unlike you lucky people on here :T

Well done losers!
I lost another 1lb this week despite another weekend away so feeling really positive now about the way weightwatchers is working for me.
Got to keep the motivation going and reading this thread really helps me so thanks to you all! :T0 -
Think we need Tara to come back off holiday and sort me out!!
I am still offocially carp and eating loads of tosh & not tracking a thing! think im going through a phase while i am on TOTM and generally feeling rubbish, so dont wanna play!
Will be at work tomorrow so hopefully that will get me back on track. Gonna have jacket potato & beans for lunch, weetabix for brekkie and then stir fry for dinner. - in fact have loads of veggir stiry fry in the freezer so will have that every night with either chicken or prawns for dinner. Gym on Thursday & Friday too. Will try to get the wii out on weekend with kids....famous last words though!0
