OK, maybe cos it's XX stone and 12.5lbs, maybe there's a cut-off point lower than 12.5

I'm full of the cold so I'm struggling not to fill up on milky coffee and a big chocolate bar - normally they'd perk me up - have had 4 antiseptic lozenges, and they're nowhere near as warming as the coffee and chocolate, but I'm holding out so far, I'm determined not to let a little cold ruin this week.
I've only got about 8 weeks till I go into hospital for my little op, I'd really like to take a few points off my BMI before then.:o
worst thing about 'feed a cold', starve a fever, is you have to count the points in the lozenges

I've got a rotten cold too and must confess I did give in to the milky coffee earlier (still finished the day with 4 points saved though) and have eaten more/felt hungrier than usual. Took the kids to the beach earlier so hopefully burned a few calories off there.
ailuro2 have you tried working your points out manually again (think it's on page 4 of this thread) to see when it will change?
Just realised that I'm set to lose another point soon - poop! It's my birthday next month and I will change WW age bands so 1 point less

I've tried to find the points, but the only thing that comes up is a bag of fisherman's friends is one point - no rude jokes here please!!:rotfl:
I've points left over for today, and having recalculated using the thing on page 4, it's as I thought - I should have gone to 26 points from 27.(I know it sounds like a lot to some folk, but they do seem to get used up quickly!) so I can afford to leave the lozenges off - I'm guessing half to one point - there's no nutritional value on the packet, they're sugar free though, so would only be one point for four at most, I'm hoping!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

The only thing I could see on there was Hall's Mentholyptus Sugar Free, and they're 1 point for the whole pack, so sounds like you're right. G'night!0

Anoyone know when the new points get calculated when you become a new stone value...like going from 11st 1lb to 10st 13lb (I wish!!) , when does it become one point less on your daily allowance?
tia:D
That's a very apt question as it was just what I was going to post about. Had a good week but all started going wrong Fri night ... red wine, cheese (...I'd had a hard day!!) then went to a lunch party yesterday which I thought was going to be a buffet but was a sit down thing so I didn't have a choice about what I ate.
Had WI this morning and still lost 1lb. I went and typed it into my account and it said my point balance needed recalculating and i've gone from 22 to 19!!!! I was so shocked that's almost 2 glasses of wine!!
I'm just about to have a look on the recipe section to find low points ideas.0 -
But you couldn't have lost 3 stone in a week, you must have put in a different level of activity, or a different age or height - afaik we only lose one point when it goes down a stone - see the post on page 4 NBirdy pointed me in the direction of
Sunday is a good day for being good - plenty of time to make some no points soup, and to make up a food plan to make sure you can go shopping and buy healthy food we need instead of a grab and run halfway through the week.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

welcome morocho - hope you lose weight with us!
Had a not very good couple of day - looooooads of chocolate binges - BUT havenot started TOTM which is what I thought was making me crave chocolate - but hopefully for next month i'll know what is coming and be able to handle it better.
Gonna make sure i keep up with excercise routine as well as i normally feel lethargic when im on so will do what i can today and get back to the gym as normal tomorrow. there's a new bums and tums class at 10.30 tomorrow so will do that too - so that wil now be 3 classes a week if i can get to them all PLUS any gym stuff i do. Will try to add in 15-20 minutes of swimming when i can as well.
having porridge for brekkie today - have found l- lots of sachets in the cupboard so may as well use them up and make the most of their low points - although my weetabix does keep me regular!
Anyone used Alli or Lipbind? Just wondering whether it is worth adding a supplement like that to my new healthy eating and excercise to help speed up weight loss......?0 -
Thanks for that plzehalpmesave! We've got a box of Oatso in the cupboard but I didn't realise it was only 2 points (+ milk) so that could be a good breakfast for next week

plzhelpmesave - I tried xenical, the prescription fuller strength version, I got the Dr to prescribe it for me - even tohugh I followed the diet recommendations rigorously I still had the worst side effects - I stopped it before I'd even done a month - orange oil is all I'm going to say!!
Much better to lose weight naturally, then we'll learn how to eat in moderation rather than putting up with horrible side effects and not eating much less.;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

If I'd lost 3 stone in a week I wouldn't care!!!!
According to the explanation on pg 4 I should be 21 points which I can manage. I didn't change anything it said click here to update your points and I did!0
