  • Jamtart if you still have the wrapper, log into the points tracker and put in the info into the little box at the bottom so it will calculate the points for you.

Amo - night shift must be really hard work - but easier to not eat when you're alseep in the day.

Tara - I soooo didn't do my stepping last nite! I had a massive blow out instead - don't know what happened to me!! had a snickers flap jack (3points) and TWO mint kit kats at 2.5 points each! in fact i WANT another one now.....

Kept tying to talk myself out of the chocolate last nite but then just thought sod it and had them anyway! That was after juggling around my dinner when i realised that the reduced chargrilled veggies i got from asda were in a blooming honey and something sauce so were not 0 points but worked out as 4 points  but i'd alreade done then in the george formal grill so talked myself into eating them. Ended up having them with 1 sausage, low fat mayo and some cheese with salad in 2 WW wraps - THEN I realllllllly wanted the chocolate.

Anyway, new day so back on track! been to bums & tums this morning even though i felt awful this morning - didn't do gym session or yoga but glad i went for the class.

gonna have lots of FREE 0 point veg on toast i think for lunch - i'm starving already... Just realised TOTM coming in the next few days so that could explain my blip!

Anyone not weighing their food - start weighing! IF you just guess, as i had been doing, you more than likely overeating so all the tracking is a bit pointless....

Oooh, sugar free jelly, I love that. I must get some. Thanks for reminding me!

I'll add you to the first post right now. Well done on losing 4lbs already! Any more tips for us? :D

Thank you for adding me. To be honest I'm not that confident about how accurate my scales are so I think this week will be more telling ... or I could just invest in digital ones!

I've been snacking on zero point things like carrots, tomatoes and cucumber. My "danger" time is about 5pm when I give my little boy his tea and think about summoning energy for his bath and bedtime. I could eat all my points in one go then!

has anyone been able to find a chicken drumstick that weighs 47g?

was just looking through portion sizes, and it lists one drumstick as 47g - have just weighed every drumstick in my fridge, and they are all double that, and they arent particularly big drumsticks either - its getting bad, when 2 drumsticks cost 5pts

And i thought turkey was low in fat, but 70g of mince is 3pts, thats not even enough to make a 1/4lb burger

  • i might go and stock up on some blooming quorn - its less points than the real stuff!

I don't mind quorn mince in a bolognese/chilli sauce, but when I tried it in cottage pie it was grim _pale_. Can't quite imagine it in a burger either! Might just be my cooking though lol

Must admit I do resent having to 'pay' points for meat too, think I must still have some slimming world habits left over.

I have just made (and eaten of course!!) the Roasted Herb Potato Wedges from the recipe section of the ww website. They were dead easy, SO nice and only 1 point. I thoroughly recommend - especially for anyone missing chips!
I also made the burgers from the ww site - they were OK but I didn't have any worcstershire sauce which they would have benefited from!

juliet16, well done on identifying your danger time. Mine is anytime between 8:30am and 5:30pm :rotfl: Thanks for the herby wedges tip. I'm going to get soooo organised with cooking low point food when I get back from hols.

lexuslass, never mind!!! Do the WI tomorrow and see how it goes xoxo

I had a WW beef lasagne today for lunch, was much nicer and more filling than the curry at 4.5pts. I've had a few blips since then but it hasn't been too bad.

Final WI before hols tomorrow as I go away at silly o'clock on Sat so won't have time to WI then. Wish me luck xo

Tanzania! :D Sorry, I'd said on another couple of threads. I'm going to delete this post soon as my sis reads MSE and I don't want her putting 2 and 2 together so don't go quoting me...

Thanks for the kind words. I will miss our wee thread while I'm away.
