Tara - i'm finding the portion sizes tiny too! had 2 have 2 almond slices last nite as they were so tiny - didn't even taste that nice so next time will deffo get something chocolatey!! And now that i've invested in those darn scales, i'm finding that portions are REALLY SMALL! so am having to have a bit more and therefore extra points! 30g of cereal would leave me starving - i have 50g and that can keep me going till lunch

if eating cereal you have to go for lightweight ones. at least 30g of rice krispies fills a bowl, whereas you get one spoonful of things like frosted shredded wheat. best breakfast ive found is the microwave porridges, they are a decent size, and filling

normal cereal has always been a starter before the fry-up in my house, and my brain wont click over to the fact i aint getting anything after my frosties :rotfl:

also having to choose between butter or jam, not both on my toast is getting a tough choice. as the WW malted danish is like cardboard once toasted

as for a good chocolatey treat, i enjoy all the WW desserts, so the choc eclairs, the toffe cheesecake, etc. they really fill a hole. Or if needing something sweet, im finding jam on melba toast, is a good low point option, not too filling, but sickly enough to stop at one pack of toasts

I'm having trouble now using all my points up! Last week I had a few days where I managed to save points, and now I feel bad for using a full day's worth up properly . Even worse, I couldn't bring myself to 'spend' the points I saved :rotfl: (I'm just the same with money lol)

    Hi All

Quick update as Im on my break at work. Tried the yolk free omelette, hmmm not to keen, I put peppers, cherry tomatoes and onions in it and to be honest it was a bit weird!! However it was 0 points.

Had to save loads of points for night shift, so I took 0 point soup, 2 waffles and beans and ww choc dessert, I think that totals 7 points.

My trousers still feel really tight!
Anyway I will be sleeping tomorrow so cant eat and then back to work tomorrow night.

Cheered myself up today by browsing the boots christmas catalogue and circling the things I want to get at the boxing day 50% sale.

    xx

Dependent on what job you do , does anyone have more points when they're at work compared to the weekend?

I was discussing this with my DH, and told him to have more points when he's working than when he's at work, he manually lifts about 8 tonnes of prodict every shift, which I would class as working physically hard, so I reckon he should have extra points those days, using the points calculator for weight/height/age/activity level.

He's not doing WW officially, more getting me to check points in foods to see what needs cutting out. (His packed lunch for work comes to 19.5 points!!)

I usually eat less at weekends, my worst time is at work when I snack like crazy...

A normal one is 2.5 points. Couldn't find Asda own make on the ww page - are they actually called penguins?
