lexuslass - glad to be of service! Clearly I have been totally useless the last 9 months as well as you can see from my sig
A 3-month subscription does concentrate the mind a little!
ailuro2 - great advice!I'm going on holiday next week and am not happy with the state of my bod but am going to enjoy myself regardless and eat very healthily (that'll be easy where I'm going, lots of exotic fruit etc, yum).
So... Monday WI and I am 134.4lbs (9st8.4lbs)! 1.6lbs lost since starting the challenge, woo hoo! I was pretty restrained (esp with alcohol) over the weekend and I think it made the difference. It's given me a little boost and I am determined not to snack today at work. I'm going out for lunch but it's Japanese so I will make healthy choices.

Monday weigh in 3lbs off. :j Heres to another week. Good luck everyone xx0
-
First weigh in - 1lb off
bit disappointed, but not disillusioned, as its TOTM, and for once my cravings havent been out of control, so hoping next week will level out weight loss

First weigh-in - 6lbs off :T. The blighters have gone and nicked a point off me though - down to 20 per day now. What sort of an incentive is that :rotfl:
I reckon that loss will even itself out so only expecting to lose 1lb max for the next couple of weeks. Pleased so far though!0 -
Weighed in this mornng and 11st 7lb so lost 3lb this week:j. This was with a few naughty snacks over the weekend and managing to consume 30 points on Saturday, supposed to be 20 whoops, may have been the 3 glasses of wine. Had a Magnum on Friday and checked afterwards and it is 8 points . Managed to say no to the Krispy Kremes though which were sitting on the table in front of me during a training course on Saturday, cruel!
Thanks for this thread as I am sure it will help. Must try harder this week to stick to the points and hopefully lose a bit more. It is quite hard to work out the points though if you make from scratch will have to make sure I follow the WW recipes to the letter.
Good luck this week everyone.0 -
tclci - well done, 1lb off is still a loss!!!
am0329 - congrats on the 3lbs!
Ritaroo - that's great, losing 3lb is obviously a reward for saying no to the KK, very impressive!!!! I know what you mean about the recipes. I must start printing them off soon and making my little binder
NBirdy - wow, 6lbs! You must be doing something right. Shame about the point though :rotfl:

perhaps ive gone a bit OTT, but ive found it easiest to go on the WW website and add everything that is in my cupboards to 'my favourites' (using the info on the pack and the points calculator) - that way i know ive got the correct point value for the items i buy, rather than generic items - once you get into the swing, you can quickly create 'recipes' and 'meals' for future use

Well done everyone, Ive also discovered that my points have dropped by three to 22 points. I think this week is going to be harder but Im still motivated!!
I have tried ww before and failed, I think it has been because i wasnt organised and ended up eating the same old stuff for all my meals, salads and baked potatoes. I just ended up bored, this time I am much more motivated am trying out some of the ww reciepes.
I also prefer the online version, the site is great and easy to navigate. I used to dread going to weigh in classes and because I work shifts i couldnt always go, This is much easier.
Thank god for pink n whites, Im a nurse and on the ward we always get loads of choccies and biscuits, Its so hard to resist, this week I have just taken in some pink n whites(which I love anyway)and had them at tea time instead.

mm 1lb on this week, not a surprise though, will try harder this week, it didnt help that I hadnt shopped in preparation for a diet but have done this week, so should do better.
Well done to everyone that lost weight.0 -
wow gang! what a great first week we've all had - all of us have lost something - so well done to us all!
NBIRDY - blooming fantastic :j almost half a stone in a week is a great motivator - so keep it up hun x
TARA - may your 3,000th post be on this very thread!:money:
I've been to the gym this morning but they didnt have the big 50p scale at this one,so am hoping to fit in a swim before i pick up the boys from school at the other gym so will so my "official" weigh in then. Unofficially, going by my home scale I am 12stone 10 - so a 2lb loss at least!
Are you all tracking your measurements too? I have lost 3cm off my waist! and 1cm each off hips and bust - managed to gain 1cm on my thighs!! must be my muscles straining to pop out! Anyway, thrilled about the inch loss - it just feels more definate than the weighing!
Had a boost this morning when one of the mums at school said I looked thin today! Wahey :j someone has noticed!
May start jotting down what i am eating here too -
B - weetos and semi skimmed milk
L - (just finished!) 3 ww wholemeal toast with low fat spread and salmon slices (aldi salmon - delicious!!)
D - chicken & prawn & vegetable stiry fry - but no noodles or rice thanks to my big lunch!
snacks - ww yoghurt, apple, tangerine, water!
Have 2.5 activity points today but am trying to save up all of these - hopefully will get to goal quicker!
Right that's enough gassing! Will be going to Intro To Body Pump class tonite and then hopefully start doing the class on a friday morning.
Have loads of returns to do today so out and about until school time - have a good (low point & fully tracked!) day everyone and let's all work hard to make it a good week girlies! x0
