Thanks for the takeaway comments guys!

Anyway, shortly after my post, my OH came in with the takeaway! It was too windy golfing so he left and came home ..."I tried calling you as I left to see what you'd want!" he said... yes on my flamin mobile which was in my bag upstairs!! grrr!!

He came back with a chow mein (i didn't have any of that!), prawn toast, sweet and sour chicken (the balls!) and some spare ribs... I ended up having two spare ribs and half a piece of prawn toast and two chicken balls... oh ... I forgot to mention, he bought some chips too so I had some of those as well!! :o We did have a couple of hours on the wiifit last night as well, which was quite a laugh... and my thighs hurt this morning from our slalom competition!!

So with my maccies breakfast, yesterday was a complete blowout! :o Still, a lesson learnt!

ailuro2 - wish I did cook some healthy bits and pieces instead but I was pretty whacked yesterday and the idea of not having to cook was very appealing!

tara747 - I love homemade pizzas, they are delicious aren't they - much better than Dominos, pizza hut etc! Although, I use the Jamie Oliver recipe so don't know how good/bad they are? I must have a look, unless someone knows?

Kaza - I'll give you a slap on the wrists too if you like... but again, only if you do the same!!

I was good this morning... I had my cornflakes for breakfast... we usually have sausage sandwiches (oven baked tho!) on a sunday morning, but I resisted!!

I went to see my mum earlier, and she said she could tell I had lost some weight.. which was nice (but then, that is my mum and she could have been saying that for encouragement... you know what mums are like!!)... I must admit tho, I might not have lost much but I definitely feel a lot less bloated and sluggish over the last few days!

I have lamb cooking for dinner!! And I have resisted picking at it too (which is my usual trick!) It's been in my slow cooker since 11am and smells beautiful and I have a host of veggies in my steamer ready to go on too.... I have gave Mashed potato a swerve (my fave!) and opted for steamed new potatoes (definitely not my fave!! but I will lash em with mint sauce...0 points!!)
  • Lexus - blowouts are gonna be part of our journey methinks! Just draw a line under it and start again as soon as you can, i.e. next meal rather than the next day. At least you did the wii fit to recover some activity points!

I blew 3.5 points on a strawberry cornetto that i didn't even want! resisted jam donut though! If i had checked beforehand how many points,i wouldn't have had it - so will try to plan eating in advance as much as possible and allow for the occassional mishaps & extras!

Spend the afternoon in some local gardens with the kids today. They had an Apple Day today (??!) so loads of little f kids activities like the old favourite "hook the apple" and apply bobbing. They also have a maze there which is a quarter of a mile walk all round and we went round 3 times! Walked the whole 2.5 hours we were there so earned 4 activity points based on slow walking. May still try to do wii fit if i feel up to it - even though i need to do ironing and sorting out school stuff for kids tomorrow....

Dinner is curry and chapattis - don't know the points for homemade curry or chapattis - went for the nearest thing i could find on the tracker. Cut my chapattis down from 2 to 1 to save myself 2 points to make up for that blooming cornetto!

That's actually what i like about WW - the ability to juggle the points around to save the day! My two chapattis and a planned desert would have taken me over 30 points - my daily allowance is 23 - so I adjusted my eating plan when i saw the points and will have lots of salad with my chapatti and maybe finish off the curry with a spoon.

Ned to drink more water though- keep forgetting today!

Tara- managed to get some digital scales from home bargains for £5 as i only went to a small tesco today so will give these a go.

lexuslass - don't worry about yesterday, you got back on track today and that's what really matters. Plus your Wii Fit workout is bound to have burned quite a few cals! Your mum was probably telling the truth and encouraging you as well, bless her. :) As for pizzas, the thing to do is make them reeeeally thin crust (luckily I hate deep pan) and cut way down on the cheese. In fact, pizzas without cheese are very tasty! You could also try ricotta, it's low in calories and melts pretty well. Or just a little parmesan or other strong cheese, as you will get more flavour for fewer calories. HTH.

plzhelpmesave, great price for the scales, happy cooking! :D

Well done on adjusting your points! I don't get to track during the day sometimes but I should, as it helps to stop me in my tracks if I'm overdoing it.

I dug out my Perricone book and have been reading bits of it... it's kept me away from snacking anyway. :rotfl: I've done ok today, fingers crossed for WI tomorrow moning!

Right, I'm feeling a bit peckish so am going to have a couple of almonds and then scurry off to bed before the snack urge takes hold!

    Hi,

Can I join please, I signed up to WW last sunday so due a weigh in tomorrow.

I have put on 1.5 stone since stopping smoking last new year and was already over weight so its not good.

    Weigh 13 stone
    Target 10 stone

Have found this week okay, only one slip up, was at a wedding at the weekend and had already taken into account the vodka points but forgot bout the drunken munchie points so went over on Friday. I have 25 points so its not to bad. Havent done much exercise last week, will need to attempt that this week.

    Happy Monday everyone!

For those of you who had a good weekend - well done, keep it going and you'll have a great weigh in this week!:D

For those of us who had a poor weekend but tracked it - have a good, under points week and recover by the next weigh in!:p ( so I didn't have the whole Pizza Hut pizza and it wasn't pepperoni, but it's still wrecked my week's points! - McDonald's next time, I can save up for and recover from 15 points!)

For those of us who had a poor weekend and didn't track it :naughty:- give yourself a boot in the bum for that - even if you're being bad then at least have a guess at how much you scoffed - it'll help you make better choices next time you want a binge ( see above lines on having McD's instead of pizza hut)

Wiping the slate clean and restarting on a Monday is not so bad if only done once in a while, so let's go ladies ! ! ! (and gents if there are any?)

    :j :j :j :j :T :T :T :T :j :j :j :j

I want to add some exercise in this week, my martial arts class is off for three weeks so haven't been doing anything this past week. Need to at least get out and do some walking to help my weight loss along.
